Ricky take control of your life what if you wanted to go back to Australia you going to leave the girls with the Thai family because it’s too much to bring them up, they are your babies you are their dad so take responsibility and grow up and be a dad to them not just a visitor
If you can work with your hands you will never starve some people need to get off their high hoarse
Exactly right Joe
The important bit is you grow them up to be onest law obiding girl with a sensible hart all the rest is nothing i m very proud of you son i raised 3 cildrens in london uk and it wasn t easy at all
Dear ricky don t give too much importanse what people think you are the dad you are doing well you should be proud of yourself and uk is not better i live there love from london
I look at Mo and Ryan from life in rural Thailand, he was a successful manager running a international coffee brand in Bali and his wife has business degree and worked at Thai bank and they gave it away to become farmers. Should never look down on people behind a counter, as I use to work in retail in Oz mate and people treat you less than something they stood in, majority of people working in retail, to finish their trade or uni degree. End of the day we all put our pants on one leg at time. I’d prefer living in rural (Lopburi) on my wife’s small farm, than to stay in Oz being overtaxed and lose our rights.
Great examples mate. I was part of waste management in Australia, people would look down on us even though we made more. But I was part of retail at Woolies when younger so I know exactly how people treat retail staff unfortunately
Same same here in village except no kids with mrs and im playing Days Gone 😏
Days Gone is amazing.
@@rickyisaan yep, easily one of the best open world games ever made. Bought a half decent gaming desktop pc last year after my laptop bust. Only paid 9k from Mypc Shop in KK city. A year later and still a gamer myself, i thought id open up an English Camp/gaming club’ 🙂 Its going down well and the kids here in the village are learning 3D and not just 1D on a phone screen😏They also enjoy camping and outdoor sensory trails. Praise the lord for Steamunlocked 😆
I’m not sure Ricky Thais only care about what you do and how much money in your wallet. Face! Maybe that’s what the commenter had in mind 🤷🏼♂️
Good thing my twins aren't full. They can learn to not care like their dad
@@rickyisaan good attitude Ricky. You will have some challenges though. We have two in university atm (19&20) and get pissed off sometimes. My wife works as officer and even when l visit her office sometimes her colleagues always say why she doesn’t dress me in better attire 😂🤣 I dress same as you. The environment for Thai people to there own can be toxic. For myself , don’t worry
Thailand lives on credit, price a new car to a used car, few grand difference with high kms on them. Walk into a dealer and pay cash for a new car, price will be so different.. even buying higher priced items from Home Pro, cash is always king..
Gold 🥇 is very popular in Thailand 🇹🇭 every body wants it every needs it 😮
Thanks
Thanks alot Ken 🙏
@@rickyisaan respect
Half the women in the West are going to grow up to be slaves to spreadsheets, having no children, and binge wine every other day.... people are delusional.
I really appreciate your views Ricky and the fact that you say that you will be proud of the girls regardless of the jobs they end up doing. As long as they are happy and fulfilled and able to be independent that is the most important. As the single parent of a daughter, I think our role is to give our children every educational opportunity and ensure they believe they can achieve whatever they want to in life and at times push them as needed and provide a good example with our own work ethic and resilience. The rest is up to the children. Whether they become high paid professionals or business owners or anything else, treating all people with respect and having humility is so important.
I’m sorry you’ve been in a dark place Ricky. Stay strong - we are all with you. Maybe a trip home to Melbourne will be good to refresh your mind and spirit. I hope the Thai family understand how generous you have been with time with the twins and all else. I know they have helped you as well but you could have easily left the country with the twins by now but have chosen to balance everyone’s needs as far as possible. All will work out x
The problem about farming in Thailand is that you will be poor. There is no money in farming here unfortunately. Also, many die early because of the extensive use of dangerous chemicals and hard work. It is just the hard truth, nothing about looking down on farmers.
The question you put on this video came from some of followers...😁😁😁😁I think after the growth up a to be the gals if their (father) need to give them a quality of education they need to study at her father's hometown.bcuz in Thailand the bilingual-school here in Thailand I think very expensive accept they study at government shcool the parents don't need to pay a lot but if they study at international school.it's another price I'm sure.So the twin do need to be farmer like their grandma in TL.4 sure they can study what ever they want the government had a loan for student or scholarship.not only farmers they can do.?? it's rediculous when Ricky ask the Q/A.? Sorry 4 my opinion.🤔🤔
Ignore the haters Rick. The girls are not gonna work at 711 or be a poor farmers! Thailand is way different now than back in the day. Your doing great rick😊 trust me the girls are going to thank you in the long run that they can speak two languages!
Suppose i was a bit biased at first, but growing up there and there roots, yes being rice pickers in the rice fields someone as to do it, if they become farmers added bonus farmers are wealthy, i once read (honest) asian women give birth in the rice fields throw baby on back and carry on working, they are much harder than us westerners, so its easy for us to say no dont do this dont do that. But if working as glamorous bar girls entertaining tourist men, then be it. Its their way and their choice. And who knows they'll be very beautiful Ricky they may meet millionaires or thai fisherman ether way they're prerogative. Your right. Thailand is another way of life, one they are growing up in. Whatever they do i hope they very happy. ❤️👍
Ricky do your girls have their Australian passports yet?
No passports Rob, no
@@rickyisaan you should definitely to it Ricky when you can, not too hard to do.
We want to see your misses
Show us your girlfriend, please
Did you ever get your beautiful girls Australian Citizenship by Decent? If not it would be a good opportunity to do it when your Mums over.
Yes all done ✔️
Hi Rick I am absolutely proud to be a farmer with my parents for almost 30 years and my father retired 55 as multi millionaire and then sold his farm and also made millions I bet those ignorant people are still renting and without farmers being the backbone of all countries idiots like those wouldn't have much to eat up their too all the farmers and down there for those idiots
Get a job and stop complaining. Stop thinking about your yourself for a change
Umad?
Thank you .
Welcome 😊
its gonna look like the mcg maaate. as long as they're happy and healthy then life is good.
MCG Green. Appreciate it Jezza, that's all that matters in life
Ricky, have you ever farmed in Isaan? It’s a lot different in Thailand ( piss poor profit after selling your rice to the middle man for example) than being a big farmer in Australia or in north America. But what I like about the small farmers around me in Isaan is that they’re mostly independent from depending on getting food from the BigC and Lotus’s franchises. They’re mostly subsistence farmers growing their own vegetables and rice on their land, having a fish pond and chickens for future meals, various fruits trees for seasonal fruit and having the knowledge of what to get from the community forest when scavenging around ( ant eggs, mushrooms, particular leaves for flavor…). Living in your parents’ or grandparents’ home is socially acceptable so the daily expenses is low. And being your own boss working in the quiet countryside is better than having a an 8-5pm job in the city. Sometimes we Westerners judge the quality of people’s lives by the materialistic things they have accumulated.
That's exactly what I like about it. I've personally never done it as I stated but no people who are doing quite well. There's nothing to suggest it's happening also, more just a response to the statement
The problem with being a farmer in Thailand it's a very hard life for very little profit I would never want my children to do it for a living.
Not all about the $ mate. It's what makes you happy
@@rickyisaan well I've seen it first hand and believe me most of the farmers I've seen don't look that happy it's to bloody hard IMO.
People are just coocoo especailly some people in America. Just simply stupid
Give them the best education you can let them choose there future always be proud and be there for them you can do no more
You can't tell the future so take say by day just enjoy while they young and lifestyle there If failed you can come back to Australia to
Failed?
Yes and nothing wrong as a farmer and along there are happy relaxing lifestyle❤
Throw that xbox in the bin !
Why would i do that?
Absolutely crazy comment that was . my wife worked on the farm as a kid , up until her late teens and still has 2 degrees in accounting and tourism management , most western countries get a degree and work at McDonalds 🤫
Can i ask how your wife financially obtained two degrees? The miniscule income of a farm worker could barely afford her daily living expenses, let alone university fees.
Park the car in a multi level parking lot at a shopping center or hospital.
Oh…. Im keeping my real thoughts to myself about that comment !! NO WORDS 😶 You know what I think Ricky Biggest 🥰♥️
I know Tangerine Tulip 🙏
Nothing wrong with ambition Get them educated in agriculture in "Markus Oldham College" in Geelong or RMIT or Waite Institute SA and then the 250K salary on huge farm 5 years then return to Thailand to become minister of agriculture, aim big.
Them girls might just take over house get that store mom made up and going again ❤❤
Sonia cant wait to see you there safe travels ❤see you soon♥️🇺🇲
Farmers are great people ❤hard work yes, them girls will grow up to make everyone proud.❤❤❤no matter what they choose in life nothing wrong with whatever they choose ❤
One years old soon❤❤🎉 wow where does time go right.walking really soon as well
Hes a great father dont care what they all say.❤❤❤hes got his hands full for sure and not easy on him.forget the haters out there .twinss will be just fine there with daddy❤❤❤❤
Just let them be kids as long as you can don’t rush their future and what they’ll do , trust me it flys by !
Bar working is difficult too dont be a hater
You’re a smart young father Ricky! You will know what to do with the girls when they’re old enough…. As for right now, you’re giving them all the love in the world a father could give and that is priceless 😊 Thanks for sharing this with us! Have a great week Ricky😉
❤🙏🏻😂have to laugh. Such a sad person, he/she really doesn’t know what life is all about. Main thing is they do what they want to do. Ide love to work on a farm. Getting fresh air & just taking life as it comes. We Westerners really could learn so much from the Thai culture. Ive had alot of illnesses & all because of stress. Take care💞💞💞💞
I’ve never been to either place so I cannot judge where is best to live other than what I see from either place. Your doing hood with your daughters Ricky. One day at a time. No need to always make drastic changes overnight in life. I’m glad your Mom will be there soon to help and she would probably be the best one to get advice from about important things in life really since she has your unconditional best interest at heart. Tss as ok to your Mom tell her all your feelings and ask what she thinks about some of the important things going thru your mind. Us Mom’s have the best advice ever.
Good. Not hood. My phone changes my words
You make me want to buy a motorcycle or a moped Ricky. 🏍️
It’s too bad that people have to be married to a local in order to buy a house there. I grow vegetables it’s a very physically hard but honest job and I know no chemicals are in my home grown food. No one can say what kind of job or career the babies will have when they’re grown or where they will live since they will be able to decide for themselves when they are grown where in the world they wish to live and work.
It would be a brilliant idea if the twins ever decided to become farmers, especially as there are so many ideas as a side hustle like a farm shop etc. Self sustainable & financially independent. As a woman I strongly believe it would be an excellent idea to encourage the twins when older to be financially independent, where they won’t feel they will have to rush into a marriage etc for financial support. Farming would be a brilliant thing to go into, joint family self employed business where they are their own boss & don’t have to depend or rely on others ~ Girl Power 🥰
