Alcohol is the gateway drug. It makes us uninhibited and, for me, was the root of addiction. Once I stopped drinking 10 years ago, stopping everything else seemed easier. Alcohol is a main culprit.

These young teens and young children, don't see any other options, but to try and numb the feelings and emotions, with drugs like marijuana, cocaine, heroine, ectascy, vodka, beer, and any other illegal substances that can get their hands.

Very young teens don't go abuse/ use really hard drugs and very hard alcohol, at all. Its usually the very young children and very young teens that have experienced horrendous, trauma, that start to look for something, to ease the pain that feel from being abused.

damn, from homeschool and early graduation to stripping and heroin. not judging at all! it's just so crazy how you can set your kids up for success but then they end up in that kind of dysfunction. of course she's responsible for her own life but it seems like the main catalyst was people. IT'S ALWAYS THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU. so many people are just drama! in her case the guys she was involved with. i hope she's okay today.
