Fishing in UK is fked up. There's nowhere to fish, except few small carp lakes on a day ticket.

Not every foreigner is a fish killing poacher but the sad reality is that almost all of our fish killed by poachers is done by non natives across England, Scotland and Ireland. It isn’t an opinion but a fact. All the angling bodies are investing in educating projects like building bridges but sadly, the authorities just can’t keep up with the influx of foreign men and women killing the fish in our once thriving and diverse rivers, streams and loughs (Lochs,lakes). The comments on the video will give you an idea of what we are dealing with.

Never killed any fish and don't know any other Pole who does. The same kind of generalisation is present everywhere. The same sheet goes on about claiming benefits, overcrowded schools or waiting times at hospitals. The fact is we work here honestly, pay taxes which can be spent on building any number of new schools or hospitals and only small margin takes any benefits. You are scapegoating good people from central Europe because you don't have enough balls to stand against real threat from asians and africans which take over your country and peak on good people from Europe who pose no threat to you which came here invited by the English government to work, live and assimilate in friendship. I see English yobs devastating waters in Manchester weekly. I never met a single English angler with rod licence here. 99 percent of all of you here on this forum haven't really ever seen any Polish poachers - you just spread gossip and xenophobic superstition.

Yes Dave, still free fishing. It is a council water and there are no plans to regulate it as of yet. Clubs have tried leasing but it never worked out. Thanks for the view
Local angler protection groups need to be put together throughout the uk to go and patrol our fishing venues before they destroy the lot.
These bstards are doing this all over the country. How the hell our our kids and grandchildren going to be able to go out and catch anything when these foreign invaders are killing everything in sight. Every fish species is being targeted by them, they aren't fussy. Pike are on the menu too, they've decimated some of the best pike venues throughout the UK. Don't just leave the river bank, LEAVE THE COUNTRY!!

I live in Scotland where the fishing laws are different and people like this HAVE destroyed most ponds, lakes and rivers.. these people need to be held in account and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law... Well done you for confronting them! You keep safe tho and many tight lines
As a regular visitor to Scotland fishing the lochs, i 100% agree with you. They have totally destoyed a lot of the fishing. I think its about time people formed groups to go around and protect the fishing from these slimey bstards.
its good to see people cleaning up our rivers ,why people leave litter strewn around the river and lake banks is unbelievable.
why are people not allowed to take a fish or two to take home to feed the family , thats the main reason i go trout and grayling fishing , if i want to go fishing for pleasure then ill go fishing in a pond or a lake where the water is not so clear.
Most of the time the EA guys target easy prey, IE the angler that they can sit and watch in their nice warm 4x4 who occasionally catch more fish than allowed and NOT the poachers and netters etc etc !!!!!!! Sort it out and do your job properly and not take back handers to turn a blind eye !!.
This is why we have game wardens in the US.... pull this shit and they'll take your rods, tackle box, maybe your truck and fine you $500.

Polish are a problem no license and they eat everything.
I actually am happy when my licence is checked (was checked last week by a lovely chap). Most anglers are, it's the ones who clearly are in the wrong who are the most aggressive. I do worry though given the people who are being dealt with may get extremely violent towards an EA bailiff. Whilst it means checking half the number of venues, maybe pairs of EA officers might be needed for their safety.
