i think its a creek chub pikie (a uk record breaking lure until this feb) i could be wrong thou!! great vid mate, always good hearing a voice from our province on YT

piker, how did you weight your pike fly to be able to cast with a normal rod ? or are they already pre weighted. I would love to try that method on the river for chub too if there are any similar chub flies. thanks.. local boy jim

Hi matey, I will be doing a new in depth video to show how to do this and yes, it is deadly for all species. Perch too! You just need a selection of Cheb weights but I find 7gram to be perfect in most river conditions. Thanks and I will do a specific video breaking down the method
