Love your taste in cars. Large Cars are my favorites. Still drive a 1994 Town Car for work every day. 77 Newport was my favorite car I have owned.
You are so lucky that the interior is in great condition! Carpet is cheap!
I had a 1970 Newport convertible back in the 80s. 383 engine with 2 barrel. Only options were AC and radio. Loved it. But gas mileage not the greatest. Awesome highway cruiser.
Sweeeet!
$100k
Sick Charger, I am a jealous lover of that Mopar😊
Thanks! 😂
So you must make sure the arm in engine is up before you seat the pump?
BAD ASS MOPAR 🇺🇸🫡
@@capt.spaulding5858 thank you!
Kickass Charger!
@@JerryJones-xo9gw Thanks! Video out this Sunday!
these were the bottom of the barrel way back when , they cost 50-200 dollars ,did run ,when something went out like a belt or alternator you left them were they landed
What’s up brother it’s Ethan
Dont convert the AC to 134. You can still find R12 on market place pretty cheap per can. It will blow much colder AC if you use it.
People don't think (depending how much mandatory driving like work) $4 to $6 dollar gas would be time to buy the biggest Cadillac you want, Dealer would be begging you to buy one. Bet $500 below dealer invoice would be possible. Think of all the used ones up for sale too!
You don't get it if you don't ask! You got some stones, if it was me I go down to $4000, I'd worry offering $2500 the guy say , Get your ass out of here, tying to steal my f-inn car! That's what you did, yes sir, yes sir.
Notes on C-bodies & this vid - yes, floor button is for the search tune radio. KYB shocks take the wallow and float out of the ride, makes it much more engaging. I think we decided that KYB Dodge 1/2t shocks were a better fit. I believe A35 is the tag code for the trailer tow package to see if you have the bigger sway bar, extra leaf etc. When going to a wrecking yard, keep eye open in Mercedes for the aluminum AutoTemp II control unit. And, to change the left rear spark plug, it's helpful to remove one bolt from drivers side engine mount and lift engine a couple of inches, if these are like the 72-3 models with tilt telescope / 440.
Of course scotty approves, I haven't watched yet. Unskilled you're good at this Mopar stuff! Mopar I'd like to get for good price a '63 Chrysler 300 J.
@@josephszot5545 You have good taste. Thank you for watching!
HOW, WHERE, WHO did you pick that jewel up from. Had to be a little old lady who at least car ported it, only drove to church and grocery both a 2 block drive.
@@josephszot5545 The Mopar Texas Hoard auction back a couple of years ago. There are a bunch of videos covering the auction on my channel if you’re curious. Thank you for watching!

69? So I guess unlike general motors 70 was the year when Chrysler stuck the big giant key lock in the column Maybe a power window regulator motor will do the trick on the tailgate 😊
Yes, Chrysler did that in 1970. I actually prefer the key in the column. I think you're correct about the rear window motor. That will be a project at some point. Thank you for watching!
@@theunskilledmechanic it depends on the Mopar to me When you're talking like a 66 through 69 charger roadrunner GTX It looks pretty cool if you get the key dangling down off of a rabbit's foot or something from dash
Still watching from the State of Rhode Island: 1. My initial reaction before seeing the interior-not worth it. 2.After-wow-&-now I'm thinkin'-worth it-especially since it has-factory-cruise control! 3. It's got AAA-call-'em-they'll get that thing goin'! 4. Last-but-not least-if-your-girlfriend-filming-this-stays-with-you-through-this-odddyssey-and-also-has a-convertible top-she's a keeper!
1970 called: the Brady Bunch needs their wagon back.
@@chrism.4544 Hahaha!
1968-1969 was when the 1970s reared its head of things to come.
Hey man you remind of me when I was young.I didn't care what anyone said.Good to see young people trying to revive old mopar.
@@mopardad3959 I appreciate that. Thank you!
Mom had a 69 Newport hardtop coupe. Big green 💚 440 and she would fly . All of mom's cars got handed down but being the youngest of 7 all I got was a neon
Dalton just bought another GTO and it was burned … beating the Holey Goat as the worst. 😅
Hey, no barnacles under this boat, (so far), but surface rust is not a big deal. It can all be cleaned up. I’d say she’s rare alright and looking forward to future progress. 👍🏽👍🏽

Very cool!
@@larryfeeks6620 Thank you!
Car yes music no
You MUST save it, it is too rare not to.
@@danielulz1640 Oh, we’ll definitely save it!
the woodgrain vinyl is easy to replace. I replaced it on a Plymouth wagon a few years ago with vinyl from Vivvid. It was relatively inexpensive, I stuck it right over the old vinyl and it looked brand new.
@@HelpingHand-ic4wt That’s good to know. Thank you!
I love your optimism. Looking forward to future updates!
I appreciate that. Thank you for watching!
That Town and Country must have made a beautiful traveling combination with that Airstream travel trailer! I believe that the Airstream was a Globetrotter (19-foot) produced between 1966 and 1968. There is a possibility that it may have been a 1965 model, but I tend to believe that 1966 to 1968 is more probable. I own a 1964 Airstream Overlander Land Yacht International (26-feet) that I once towed with my 1964 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible with the 383 Cubic Inch V8.
I keep forgetting to send you information on that dash that I have! Been busy! I've had 2 funerals in five days!!
I’m sorry to hear that! There’s no rush at all.
The love of my life brought me for my first ride in his fathers Fury think the year was 1970 Jenna’s grandfather Kevin! What a beautiful ride❤ so I’m loving this video brought me back in time! You go Collin just because it’s old you can bring back its life 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful car.
Thank you!
whats with the wood grain not a wagon
It’s called the “sportsgrain” package. 1 of only 200 built in 1969.
We need longer videos pls
More videos will be coming soon!
Need to unlock that motor…
I hope we can!
Love it..
Thank you!
Good stuff.
Thank you!
Got to be a few dead mice in there, hiding someplace?
Yup! I’ve seen a couple already.
The biggest issue is of course the frame and body mounts, good luck.
Thank you!
My dad bought a 69 T&C wagon in 72, same color as yours. It was our family doctor's car and had all the toys. I always really dug those chunky rocker switches on the dash. When the oil embargo hit in 73, my dad tried retarding the timing so he could run it on regular, but the car hated it. Gas mileage was horrible according to my dad, so he got rid of it by 1975.
That’s super cool, thank you for sharing!
Cool that it's a convertible, has power windows, and has electric bucket seats that still work and a floor shift. I'm surprised the top motor still works. I wonder of the reverse lights would come on.
That’s a good question. Thank you for watching!
When the fusible link burns on a mopar there are two spots it can be the charging system AKA Alternator is bad or headlights have a short
At least you replace the fusible link wire with proper wire I have seen guys replace it with regular wire and add thicker wire when it can burn the whole damn car to the ground. I watched Vice Grip Garage do that replace the fusible link wire with heavy gauge standard wire and I left him a warning in the comments to replace it with proper wire or the car can burn to the ground but not sure if he did or not but at lest i warned him but they all love to blame "Mopar Wiring" when it's stupidity that burns the cars down not the Mopar wiring because the wire has a label right on it saying Fusible link and it's up to the person to fix it the right way or the wrong way. Uncle Tony's Garage has a video on it too kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJqZmM-Jn9Kvo84.html&ab_channel=UncleTony%27sGarage
Nice 👍 looking forward to seeing more
More to come!
Should have pulled the hub caps off.
They’re off now.
