I ran this in 1.0 trying to scale as much vitality and melee chance as possible since there’s also no cap on the more damage bonus for going over 100 crit chance. I managed to get a little over 300 which is 600% more damage. Was able to get around 300 corruption and kill T4 Julra which was fun. Excited to see what you can do with the build! Thank you for exploring this

i checked with devs about the shadow nerf. Very weird it wasn't listed in Patch Notes, but it looks real: using Healing Effect to scale damage is only half as effective in patch 1.1 -- an unwarranted nerf, in my opinion. The Ward Nerf alone, I would have said to just play the build with 4k health. But with the Healing Effect Dmg nerf, I wouldn't play the build.

Way more nerfs than buffs and still ignoring pretty much all the underperforming skills / builds. The Marksman changes are pathetic to really helping it perform well.

Why do they still ignore a bug with runic invocation nodes that depend on changing runes order? The 1st is about reducing the remaining cooldown and the 2nd one is about stacks of runic energy. This fix will make a lot of runebolt builds playable. But now these nodes work only with a double element fireball and a randomized runebolt. Ok let's wait 1.2

@@toba5878 spriggan form for one. Also passive changes in shaman give more mana now. 5 points into Elemental Shrines for the mana regen. Might use maelstrom too which brings up getting 60 attunement threshold. Though to be fair to your question. I am not totally sure without using a bear/spriggan if the extra mana will cut it. Going to be fun to find out.

dont get me wrong though i am 100% for a balannced game and nerfs need to take place in order to make a good game. its boring wehn u one shot enemys left and right without to put actually work in our build BUTT so many things feel underperfomed and boring to play, i just wish they would have put so much thought into buffing things or make things fun to play like they did with the nerfs.

there's no changes like that. I'm also dubious of calling anything a "one shot" in last epoch. anything that deals that much damage is very telegraphed -- Last Epoch's a pretty fair game in that regard.

it looks like they nerfed volatile reversal would you still consider it the most op skill in the game? also 4 thousand with is nothing a single hit and it gone not really worth investing in tbh.

4000 is not nothing in the grand scheme of things if built around well enough it will make the builds that use it mortal but still very tanky

@@PerrythePig I mistook anomaly for volatile lol, and not really 4k-15k ward at 300+ corruption isn't worth it. I was going to league start a surge spell blade. but with the ward nerf.. I'm going lightning wolf or storm crow bm since it got some good changes. maybe shaman to try out the lightning totem changes just wish avalanche had some lightning conversion stuff and tornado tree effected the tornado node in the tempest strike tree.

I just skipped to CinderStike First, because its my First Skill Build I played in LE; I want that skill to get more mechanics, fun builds. But you at 26:04 Cinder Strike just skipped and saved lot of trouble. LOL 😂😂

Just because Forge Guard was my first build I ever played in last epoch when I saw this game a few years back, and now it's getting hate I might re roll back to it just to see if it's really that bad 😂 Going Shield Crush for definite 👍 going to be a interesting race for sure to see who can make the arguably worst class in the game to lvl 100 on SSF HC

The ring duplication bit... you're more likely to get a good ring but miss out on that chance to get double bis from one prophecy. Considering the latter was a small chance to begin with, it should be a benefit overall

I always appreciate your insight into the Sentinel class. I too grew to love Rive over time, it just feels like the archetype for what melee should feel like. That said, I'm still considering the Rive + Healing Hands combo... what are your thoughts on where that might end up with the ward nerfs coming?
