    The hilarious thing is this item used to be uncapped. After begging devs through direct dms asking them to cap it to 10 stacks max they decided to cap it, to 40 stacks LOL 😅

    Converting self-bleed to ignite for Immolator's Oblation is cool, and interactions like this are good for the game and add depth to character building. I say nerf the belt to a reasonable level (60-80 flat at most), make all the conversions consistent, and let us HAVE FUN making funky self ailment builds

    I think the belt needs a nerf, but make all the other interactions work. Anything that adds to build diversity is good in my book.

    I feel like the belt should be nerfed to like 10 or 15 stacks capped and all of the other self bleeds should work with the gloves because that's a cool interaction

    I think this is really important right now, especially with all the ruckus around infinite ward bugs and the gold exploit. This interaction has been in the game for more than a year now so if its a bug, they need to clarify and fix ASAP. I have raised it on forums as bug and feedback to no response so guess its just not a priority. We actually have other things also reliant on self ignite such as Soulfire relic and Ashes of Mortlity ring but no real way to self ignite other than that mostly useless 'on kill' 2h axe

    I tried to use this belt with soulfire relic and the boots that make maelstorm a necrotic skill and my fire tornados. My surprice was big and sad when i saw that when i turn to swarmblade the belt doesnt work bc its not a direct cast but i spend mana/rage on using the skill so technically is a use.

    the reason only cthonic fissure builds use this interaction is because you build up the ignites before casting, then the whole fissure is snapshotted to have the extra damage. If you don't use a skill that snapshots for a while, the ignites dissipate too fast to do much useful stuff with it. So EHG could also just fix the snapshotting of fissure and I think death seal snapshots too

    But then it would be useless anyway... just because like one single build is using this, there should be another solution to fix this and make it maybe more attractive for other builds?

    Finding ways to get more ignite stacks on yourself is part of the fun, they should fix the interactions that DON'T work so there are more ways to self ignite. In return they can nerf the spell damage per stack (NOT the maximum stacks, as once again, figuring how to get more stacks is part of the fun. if they nerfed max stacks to 10 there would be no incentive to find interactions besides the belt itself)

    maybe calling it a bug could be a bit on the edge. but this could be an unwanted interactions ? because its only problematic in specific situations ?

    is the difference between bleed becoming ignite just the wording? one is a chance to bleed yourself, and the other is definite "you are inflicted with bleed" instead of a chance. the gloves change you chance to bleed into chance to ignite. "you will bleed" is not a chance so dont convert. if they said 100% to bleed, it would work, but they just place a bleed on you regardless of chance. i suspect they would bleed you even if you where supposed to have bleed immunity for the same reason

    100% agree. I realized long time ago that consistency is too far away from LE. Also some ailments in skill tree are applied by more damage multiplier and some are not. So each ailment on a skill tree is a random.

    nerf the belt to 40 spell damage cap and fix the other items so that they work with the belt + gloves combo. That allows more classes to reap the benefits and spreads the love around. Vs. taking the interaction out of the game entirely.

    Damn, I was going to try Death Seal Lich with these items (gloves+belt+2h scythe) at some point. Now I need to abandon my current build and speed up trying that one, cos it's gonna get nerfed...

    Small nitpick but nontheless important correction I think: The self-bleed from Transplant does actually get converted to ignite with Maehlins. However every other form of bleed chance, be it self-bleed or bleeds on enemies, does not work (generic bleed chance does). Like Spirit Plague itself has more bleed nodes that have the exact same wording as the self-bleed but apply it on enemies instead and those do not get converted. It's just confusing as hell and there seems to be no consistency. Like as if 2 or more people coded this stuff and one did it their way and the next did it differently. Having such inconsistencies within the same skill with the exact same wording is just really strange.

    It's so buggy on whether or not it will convert self bleed to ignite. It's so frustrating. The harvest equivalent doesn't work. Spirit plagues that spread doesn't work. Spirit plagues via life's journey don't work.

    I get that the belt is strong, even too strong, and I understand the argument for nerfing it. What I don't understand is how the belt itself is bugged, as mentioned near the beginning of the video. (Yes, looks like interactions with the gloves are bugged, and yes, it looks like the belt is probably far stronger than intended, too easily, but it seems to do what the info says.)

    *something* surrounding this belt is bugged: either spirit plague, all other sources of self-bleed, or the ignite duration scaling. It's hard to capture that in a thumbnail.

    This was very disappointing when i was trying to make it work for Bloody Nib. The one thing Spellblade is pretty bad at is doing spells with a blade. How annoying is that.

    I love the self-bleed to ignite convert, but I agree the belt needs to be changed. It's so good that it warps game balance, and this is true even after the "nerf" they gave it from before, when you used to be able to stack self ignites infinitely. It should be maximum 40 flat damage, and the chance to ignite yourself when you use a fire or necrotic skill should be 100% baseline, no roll range. That way, the damage bonus has a much more reasonable cap, cast speed investment doesn't quadratically increase your build's spell damage, and it plays more effectively into the synergy with Pyre of Affliction. And yeah the conversion mechanics need to be brought up more effectively, Spirit Plague shouldn't be an exception.

    I think they should include this crazy thing in the game. It is how set items should work if you ask me. Not set items as in green items but set items as in next level synergetic items.

    Bleeding heart isn't chance to apply bleed. It inflicts bleed. So that shouldn't work.

    So does the self bleed from spirit plague, though. It also inflicts bleed, and yet, it works.
