Yay! Second place! this competition was super fun and definitely look forward to participating in more. I think some really awesome builds from everyone (My fav was Raptornado actually using Hakar's phoenix for the revival effect).

Really liked the look of your build. I wonder would tempest stike jaspers pride work with aftershock damage over time over crit earthquake?

​@@jupepi6490Thank you! Could be possible, However I don't really see much synergy specifically for DoT aftershocks. 1. Losing crit will make Tempest strike feel much weaker affecting clear. 2. Aftershocks have 100% base dmg effect (vs 350% of initial hit) making flat dmg less effective 3. DoT aftershocks do not 'hit' afaik so will not proc ignites(I wanted to incorporate the ignite aspect of jasper's as well but don't see a good way to do it)

Always love these build competitions 😁 I think i actually gotta say raptornado might be my favorite! also - wondering if future ones you'd consider some general "theme" ideas? like "niche unique" (or a specific niche unique??), "weird idol combos", "odd conversion" builds, etc...

Raptornado looked so fun! I'm currently levelling a Beastmaster to build that now

Awesome builds but I wanted to point out that at around 25:40 he was talking about global chat and why people have it on... If I disable ONLY global chat, it comes right back on next time I log in. I REALLY wish it would remember my setting and stay disabled so I can use party/whisper without needing to worry about disabling global every single time.

That strike rive build is so tempting. I love true melee builds and they seem in short supply atm in LE.

Was hoping to see a build that really leaned into multiple tempests. Cool stuff either way.

Unfortunately a lot of the tempest based nodes are fairly bugged.

I tried that with a frigid and wind tempest (frigid for freeze rate and wind for tornado proc) on build 8. Forgot to mention IT. Also used a t6 reduced mana cost Affix on the sceptre but for some reason IT only apply to the first Strike. Posted the build planner but i think Perry just missed it

Am I missing anything? Isn't the first second and one of the third place builds basically the same thing, with the first being a worse version of the second place?

what i took from this contest is that tempests need to be way stronger and less mana intensive. Did any build actually use the tempests part of tempest strike?

I was looking forward to finally entering a contest, but I gave up when I encountered all of the bugs with the Tempest Totem conversion. Apogee (+ to Cold Minions) wasn't working with the converted Tempest Totem, among the bugs mentioned in the video and others, I'm sure.

Build 2 seemed like tempest strike was not at all necessary for the build.... Like you take it out and it functions 100% the same
