I wanted to share my biking experiences, there are not many women bikers out there, if I can help encourage a few more than I will be happy! I love the social side being on a motorbike has opened up and I am learning maintenance all the time. Beautiful Cornwall is an awesome place to ride around, make sure you give me a nod if you ride past!

hello! I wanted to know if your engine consumes a little oil? I consume 1 liter per 5000 km
Superb, well done
Posted 8 years ago, but still sure damn useful in 2024
Thank you!
For an 8yr old video, this is still helping people who need it. needed to sync my carbs on my '01 suzuki SV650s and this video was exactly what i needed. Thank you!
Very good Explained.
I literally cannot remove the throttle cables, how did you do it so easily
Buenas donde las puedo encontrar me gustaría ponerle ynas asin gracias un saludo desde españa
Brilliant you definitely have the best video.
Great!
That's unfortunate! I couldn't help but wonder about all the mounting brackets on the lower fairings and what they look like, as I plan to make my own. It would be really handy to get some kind of reference. Can you make a video showing them / direct me anywhere where I could see them?
How do your front rubbers splice out so easily and keep it in place. Mine don't do that
Na het zien van deze video besloten deze spannings meter te kopen, bedank voor deze video.
Amazing thank you so much I swear just the past two days just about every video u made on this bike I’ve saved and watched!! I just got my 01 sv650s running bc of you!! Your a life saver all these videos are really helping people like me to this day!
I love these videos thank you for the help
I have the same bike. However I am having fuel fly out the exhaust. Do you have an explanation for that?
great video, due to do mine, incredibly helpful - thank you!
Hi Tamsin, I have a 1999 sv650s with only 3000 miles, on mine the first time I did a service I noticed I got an inline fuel filter, looking at yours and there doesn't seem to be one, did they have one when the came off the production line. The reason I ask is this bike has been stood still for 10 plus years, and I've got popping on idle and overrun from thee exhaust, found thee exhaust had 3 holes so put a new full system on it, popping is getting worse, she doesn't idle properly, would you say the carbs needs balancing or would they benefit from a rebuild. Kind regards Martin
Perfect video
Good to see you again. Glad to hear you’re doing okay. I’ve an issue I was hoping you could point me in the right direction of rectifying. I’m replacing my cracked fairing with one I’ve had painted and am now trying to reassemble the whole thing. Everything seemed to be going rather smoothly until I attempted to attach the bottom skirt which I’ve since found out is called the inner cowling cover according to the parts list. I think my main problem is I only have access to two hands as I can’t line up holes with holes and get the plastic on the outside that needs to be on the outside and keep the little tabs that hold it in place on the inside all at once. Couldn’t find any KZread videos on the subject either. Thank you so much for everything.
Hello there! I cannot help you with your question because I am missing that part, but, I was hoping you would be able to assist me with the lower fairings? I found an oem pair for my 2002 SV650s, and am excited to put them on the bike. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any information on how to install them! Would you be willing to share any resources you have about how to get these on to the bike>? Im at a total loss. Thanks in advance!!!
Wow this really inspired me to make my bike a more “tour-able” as well. Great work as usual from you
Congratulations to the channel and greetings from the Polish backyard. Today I'm cooking caliper soup and potatoes topped with oil from the front fork. ;-)
hey do u know where to get engine parts for suzuki sv650 ?>
Congratulations on a great tutorial! I still lubricate with special grease the pins working in the rubber bands. This type of clamp likes grease in this place. NOT copper grease! Well my favorite cleaning tool - a toothbrush. Perfect for cleaning brake calipers.
when putting new pins in, good idea to put copperslip on them to stop corrosion in future
Best video I’ve seen on it. Making me feel bad not being able to do it with two hands. 😆 Think I learned what I was doing wrong. Not closing it as the vacuum was ending. Thanks!
Great to see a female doing work on a motorcycle 😊
Tape mesure takes all of 10 seconds , 50 pence from the locall garage , if you cant operate a tape mesure maybe they should not be riding
Hi is it exactly the same for the choke cable? Thanks
Hello from over the Pond :) Thank you for making these videos! I got my first bike, a 2nd gen sv650 in spring and i love it sooooo much. yes it does make the best sound Ever :D Want to get to grips with the maintenance side of things and so glad to see you've made these vids, they're gonna really help me <3
I've probably used over a dozen of your vids over the last 3 years since buying my K4, and they've made me way more confident in servicing/repairing my baby. From the other side of the world, thank you so much for all your help 💙🩶
Also if any one knows the factory length of the fuel hose from petcock to pump i would appreciate it. I cut mine up and tossed it. Wanna make sure i dint have my new one too long or short
You didn't explain the chain monkey correctly at all, it's to set the chain tension not check it
I think I need to start doing the jobs on my SV one handed, as I seem to be worse with both hands lol.
Awesome ❤
Are you still on twitter??
Awesome ❤
❤❤❤
Appreciate you having the patience to single handedly explain the process lol
I have stuttering, power loss, RPM doesn't go over 5k and even the bike stalls time to time. And there are times when everything comes back. I found some scotch tapes in the tank, don't ask how it got into it, but the tank was repainted by the previous owner. I removed the tank, cleaned it, checked inside with camera and everything looks nice, not even rusty. I checked the fuel filter, it works. I haven't touched the fuel pump yet. I also checked the airbox, removed it. I didn't dare to touch the carburetor, yet. 1. Anything else to check? 2. Can someone advise a link for a carb video? Thanks
La transmission n'a pas connue l'existence de l'huile dans sa vie 😵
Hi misses Cooper, hope you see this message. I have bought a cover for the rear seet from airtech, it's more in a waterdrop shape compared to yours. Anyways, I am having a hard time figuring out how I should secure it to the frame? On the inside it's just hollow and unlike the rear seet there's nothing to attach it to... Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thank you very much for your amazing videos, I bought a sv650s 2002 last year and I am renovating it. Your videos have been very helpfull. I really appreciate the time and detail you have put in each of them! Greetings Nico De Decker
Where did you get the fork top plate cover?
I always do my own brakes on cars and bikes. You can pay a shop to do it but *nobody* will be as thorough as shown in this video. I like how you cleaned the slide cylinders, most people just throw new geease on top of whatever sludge is there and call it good!
Nice one, i will do this to my bandit, thank you.
Hi the instruction on the chain monkry states to remove the black domecover befors use , it works well but always on tge loose side , mine states 25 to 35 mm and it leaves the chain slack on 35mm
Just saved me a fortune on new buell throttle cables. Cheers
I'm here for the how-to-fix... and the British accent.👍Thank you for the great tutorial.
eeey hii!! where can i buy those fairings? (from spain btw)
