Wow! Those brand new tires after one day at a track!? Haha awesome! I can so tell you were looking right at the cone and stared it down the whole way lol it happens to everyone. And look at you go making a run a Maria Costello! 🤣. Looks like such a great time. Cant wait for my first track day!

Great video. I could never book on an IAM skills day, despite being a member --- they are so popular! But I've managed to do a Hopper Better Skills Day at Caldwell Park, and an MSV novice-only track day at Snetterton. They are both awesome circuits.

Looks like a wonderful experience, and Maria Costello is just a legend, thanks for sharing :)

She really was, I sat and had lunch with her and simply loved how down to earth she was, and funny! They gave her a high end BMW track bike (the only track bike allowed on track that day) and she refused it, she wanted a bike with mirrors to be able to see and engage with us learning on the track! I told her I had video footage of overtaking her and she took it in great fun! The instructors and Maria made the day phenomenal!

Great video, my riding has improved so much since I got myself a track bike. It's mighty fun and much safer than riding on the road.

There is such a big difference between riding on the road and track, I found when I was on track I could concentrate more on the bike and less on worrying about other road users, you are right, it really is so much fun!

lol! Indeed! Bloody cones! I was so pleased I didn't go over the handlebars! My instructor, Alice, was behind me when I did it, when I spoke to her after the session she said I was lucky! Thanks for all your nice comments, I am pleased you have been enjoying the videos!

The sv is a great track bike for beginners. Been myself twice and it was really really good. Now i have a track bike because i am afraid to wreck my SV 😁Thank you for sharing your experience!

I have just completed my first year with a curvy SV and it's ( nearly ) all your fault! Excellent bike. A classic. Thanks for the videos and sharing your experience.

Add it on the list, then go and book it! They tend to fill up pretty fast, I was very lucky to get a last minute place, but I would not leave it so late next time. I learnt so much from it, I would recommend it to anyone.
