Motorbike Chain Adjustment
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I teamed up with the guys from @RiderCamTV to do a video about chain adjustment. It was really good fun filming with them and I hope you enjoy. Chain adjustments can be intimidating to start with, but with a little practice, it really is very simple. Check your own bikes maintenance manual, as some require the bike to be on a centre stand and others on the side stand (the BMW dealer of Mark's bike said it was fine either way)
As always, thanks for watching, I read all the comments and try to respond to as many as I can. Please check out the RiderCamTV channel too, they post some really great stuff!

Thank you! I had really good fun filming this!
I've had a slack chain come off the rear sprocket at 80mph before. I was not thrown off surprisingly, the bike just ground to a halt but definitely something you want to avoid!
Hi T. Great U are back. One important thing to put attention: wheeel on the ground or on bike stand to put pressure on rear suspension under bike weight. Swing arm have a different pivot point than the chain, under bike weight chain will be tighten up.

Good tip! I put a note to this effect in the description, but you are quite right, always check the bike manual for if it can be on a centre stand or side stand.
First thing I see is the autoroll garage door with the cover off. As an owner of such a device, that tells me a story 😅

Yeah, Toby’s garage was a little different to mine! It was raining so hard on the day we did the filming, I was just pleased to be inside!!

It was really great fun! Thank you for doing all the hard work with the tools!! I could get used to that!
It's good to check the axle alignment and chain play again after you've tightened the axle, cos the torquing up can sometimes upset the position of the wheel.
