What do you think needs to happen to encourage HBO to bring out a 3rd Season? I think Raised By Wolves is the most imaginative sci-fi that I have ever scene! Thanks for the summary.

Fantastic video and series. You made a very interesting statement describing the Ash replacement. I think this episode shows how at best it is unrealistic to think a person is only a connection of their memories . You can reproduce someone’s voice and maybe even an A.I. representation of conversations but we are more than the sum of our parts. I will say it, we have a soul . We cannot make a soul. Black Mirror no reflection or at best just a reflection. Keep up the reviews

The movie brought in one line that addressed what the plot had never outright said the whole while. During Acts 1 & 2 the books made it clear Snow had a decision to make between prioritizing himself, his future, and exceptionalism OR embrace love, empathy, and mediocrity. However the choice was never clear cut until the final act. He never had to choose between the two and could play at both without admitting to anyone let alone himself where he really stood. Act 3, the move to the districts, was finally when the choices had distinct paths. He gets a real sample of what the end of each road could entail and has to start choosing before it’s made for him. While you can always choose to turn to back or do things differently it’s also important to keep in mind every time you make a choice it becomes easier to make another one like it and harder to turn back. Snow’s slippery slope started with Bobbin, although that wasn’t much of a choice, but it made it easier to turn in Sejanus, and even easier to rationalize the mayor’s daughter. The Penultimate decision was Lucy Gray, to turn on her was a leap, but with everything else he’d already done and the greener grass just on the other side, it didn’t seem like an impossible one.

(I might be wrong but) Lucy Gray and Haymitch weren’t the only 2 victors from 12 before the 74th there was also a victor that mentored Haymitch and the other 3 tribes in the 50th. He (from what I remember) was like old and stuff so…I could be working but just a thought that went through my mind.

Might as well have said "inspired by the 4 corners of the World", or for u americans the 4 mentioned regions are basically - the same thing?

That's a really good point you made here. Vecna flayed the Demogorgons just like it flayed Will in S2 and Bill in S3, but all the flayed have a chance of coming back to who they were. From what we know from the scene where Henry gets to the upside down, the demogorgon was just doing his own thing. What if there was a chance the demogorgons could become disconnected from Vecna in S5 and be turned against him somehow to help defeat him? That would be really cool.

I read the book after seeing the movie, and honestly I think Suzanne Collins nailed the inner monologue of a narcissist justifying the horrible things they do. It was chilling how little Snow questioned himself when it dawned on him that Lucy Gray's death would make it possible for him to go back to his old life.

That's not how the story of Lamia goes. Lamia was the Queen of Libya. After an affair with Zeus that resulted in children, Hera (Zeus' wife) discovered the infidelity. After Zeus leaves for an errand on Olympus, Hera descends upon Lamia and transforms her into a monster. After her transformation, the first thing that Lamia realizes after her monstrous transformation is her dead children in her arms. In retribution for what Hera did, Lamia declared war on the people of Greece. Lamia became a demon that would sneak into the homes of newborns and feed on their life-force. Lamia is blamed for crib-death in the ancient world. She is a symbol of vengeance for what Hera did to her. Because of all she has done, Hera cursed Lamia to never rest. Zeus, for his part in it, took pity on Lamia and made it so that she could remove her eyes and know a semblance of rest.

I don’t mean this to be rude by any means, but I really hope the whole “Taking Florida out of the equation” line was a joke because it’s literally outright explained in the books that it’s UNDERWATER. In fact most of the entire world is underwater, which technically doesn’t make much sense because there are obviously areas in the world that are at a higher sea level than places in the present day United States but that’s besides the point, but the fact that so much of the world is completely flooded is most likely due to the glaciers in Antarctica melting and flooding the planet. Since the main series takes place in 2308 they most certainly melted due to global warming getting too much for the ice to stay intact. And also I typed this up during the sponsor so if he explains that joke or any of what’s in this comment during the video I’m not coming back to edit it btw so suck it up pookie 😘
