Westworld is an entire loop?!!

At least you didn’t say the story was over after episode 4 like many creators. The story doesn’t make sense yet. It’s incomplete.

We need to remember that Dolores wasnt the only one to say that the world is gonna end. Bernard also confirmed the same thing to Holores and Maeve.

Thanks these two videos of yours about the ending really helped me, lets hope budget and corporation issues don’t spoil the final fifth season of the show, which has had its ups and downs but has also sparked so many interesting conversations.

HBO is normally quite good about these things. And considering Westworld was never that successful, they would have pulled the plug years ago if they wanted.

Ryan is right. Since Discovery bought Warner Bros., they’ve been slashing and burning through their tv & film catalog, even taking content off HBO Max, to pay less in residuals to talent. But we can hope.

​@james1200 We'll probably never get a fifth season, or at least a movie to tie up loose ends, like Deadwood did. However, one of Westworld's co-creators, Jonathan Nolan, made a new show called The Peripheral on Amazon Prime. It's a mixed bag as far as reviews go, but who knows? Maybe a fifth season is still possible.

You completely misread the size of the sublime. 1.2 EBS is just the packet size for the transfer. Which means just the pearl of Dolores was in thousands of EBS. Size of the sublime would be in billions of EBS considering it has hundred of hosts like Dolores and also their own worlds.

One study found the human brain is equivalent to ~256 EBS~ (Exabytes) so if we are duplicating minds here the numbers are off by an exponential factor.

Thank you for almost attempting to answer how William got to the Hoover dam on a horse before Hale, lol! It’s been bugging me since I saw it. They definitely screwed up, unless it’s a bionic horse 🐎 🤠

Maybe part of bernards plan was for dolores to see real humanity survive and thats part of her final game/test? Frankie is an outlier so maybe her influence is unpredictable

It may be that seasons 3 and 4 (or even 2-4) are the inner workings of Delores’s metamorphosis to consciousness. Perhaps these seasons are what she’s experiencing as she becomes self aware, so season 5 will snap back to that point in real-time and things will pick up right from there. Don’t love the theory but it’s better than a simulated Westworld park.

The cool thing about Hoover dam is it has a lifespan of 10,000 years.... I’d imagine that’s why the sublime is stored there.....lol new sublime Maeve will somehow access one of those military robot things that you just know is guarding Hoover damn and it will idk do something to get them out.....prob a room just full of “pearls” just waiting to be reloaded....and automatic body makers....they even remake Ford....god please not let that be it

1.2 exabytes can hold about 480 human brains worth of data. It would have to be way bigger

One of the show's themes, as stated by virtual-Logan, is that humans aren't all that complicated. Maybe 480 different human brains is all we actually have, with all the shared experience, common motivators, etc.

There won't be a season 5. HBO have cancelled the show.

100k years dolores would have, cause aketcheta told bernard that one year irl was 1k years in the sublime, so if the turbines can run for 100yrs, then dolores has 100k yrs to run her final game, lol, essentially half the time(roughly) humans have been a species on this planet...so id say she has enough time to go and try and get some time to go ride teddy before she starts her final game...she probably needs it after being killed so many times since teddy ate his gun at the end of season 2....anyways, thx for the vid as always. cheers man.

okay but if every conscious thing exist now only on a server farm how will they have any actionability in the world after this mysterious test, ditto with those who transcended? And why was not hale so obsessed with transcendence if it just means everyone again is stuck on some server waiting for the power to go out? Why wouldnt they go AI godmode and turn into hyperdimensional goo or whatever?

So...let me see.if understand. Humanity dies except for a small group of people in the real world, but the mind of the host and a copy of the minds of all humans are "alive" in the servers. Right?

Westworld is a system in a loop. Dolores is the system trying to win the game not knowing she is the one starting the loop over and over.just one more game. A risky game.

But i read that HBO cancelled this show🤦‍♂️(Please tell that its not true.)They cancelled it in very interesting place of story! i wanna know how humanity and Ai will deal with each other, or will there be new cyberkind life form with human personalities mixed with ai sentients, or they will live in simulation until some earthquake or another natural of even space disaster or some evolved animalsapiens will destroy the servers or use the servers like we use pyramids in Egypt now ,like ancient monuments. Anyway i just wanted logical ending for humanity which invented AI ..and even show cancelled.. is it bad sign?) BTW Solomons carzy prediction or plan seems to be worked - the extinction.Nolan and Joy is making Peripheral show which is good but not enough like Westworld IMHO

I dont believe what dolores say about the humanity : after all she fails , again, again and again against human. Hale was a version of dolores , William had a code of dolores .. in the end Dolores was responsible for that ..; Like human she made mistakes and try to correct it. Host in the end acted like humans

It turns out a good ending for the whole series.

Season 4 had a great start with interesting twists but the ending fell flat. So she finds a gun stashed there and shoots William and it's game over? It's rather disappointing considering the massive setup. Season 1 and 2 are still the best.

Last 2 seasons were nothing but MONEY GRABS. I lost track how many times hosts kill each other and pretend nothing happened. I was able to predict every goofy fight scene and shoot out as well. Overall a very stylistic 4th season but it lacked imagination IMO.

I agree!

Even if some individuals survived William's last game there will not be enough genetical material for humanity as a specie to do so. How many where there in the outliner group? 30? 50? All approximetly the same age and from what we saw, no children or elderly. And the majority seemed to be men. Doesn't take many pregnancys gone wrong (on top of all other casualties) to make those odds dwindle to nothing. And even if everything goes smoothly the inbreeding will take care of things pretty soon anyway.
