  Nice format, particularly like the background chat bit. Simple "here's the sprues" format vids are a bit boring. Since you asked, given the pain factor, its pretty good. Nothing wrong with brush painting as long as you use long even strokes. Particularly like the "concrete runmay" display, it sets it off nicely. Definately a thumbs up.

  Great video. I’ve just built this kit. It’s an enjoyable build. Nice to see a fellow Heller fan. I finished mine with Tamiya grey fine surface primer followed by AS12 bare metal silver. This gave a quick drying and robust finish. These spray cans are very modeller friendly and will give you more confidence spraying. Then you will be ready to take the next step airbrushing!

  I've got some spray cans and indeed an airbrush - the next few models are airbrushed - this was just one I felt I wanted to just brush it 🤗💟

  Hi Ms modeller. Its nice to see you again. I,m not a big 'chopper ' fan but I must say that does look like a nice kit. There's plenty of it. I particularly like the glazed nose section. Once you put the blades on it will take up some space, maybe try to find a way of taking off the blades for transport / storage. Thats one of the reasons that I din,t do helicopters, just to big. Anyway nice kit and a good video. Best wishes.

  If you look at the real Fouga it does NOT have rivets on the canopy nor does it have rivets on the airframe....also the canopy frrame should not have a "step" on it so while i love this kit and have done 2 of them the Heller and special hobby /valom kits are more accurate

  Hi Lexi. Yes, of course build it. Absolutely. I see "Big Windies" (Chinnook), usually about 3 at a time generally once a week and I look up every time. It looks good as you show it there except (me on my hobby horse) Airfix have limitted the display opportunities by having no one to drive it. Why not include a couple of pilots so that we can have a bit of authenticity "in flight"? They must surely have CAD files of pilots they could add. I've had one on order for about a month now, along with its spiritual greart great great grandfather the Bristol Belvedere (Vintage classic). Bristol (or I think it might have been after the Westland take over) sold the rights to Boeing Vertol so the lineage is clear. As a quick tip, to those who may not know, in these tandem rotor designs the rotors are geared togther so as one blade passes over the body it is in the gap of the other rotor so a display should show that. Airfix did a very good Lynx AH1 in the old days, as they did the Gazelle and Puma and I would love to see them rereleased as VC as I would love to see the Scout as well. (They all had pilots too!) I love helicopters. PS. I suppose thats Atlantic Conveyor in the box art.

  Didn't realise the merch for robot wars was so extensive. I went to a filming of the show once, not quite as glamorous as you'd expect but entertaining enough for a teenager of the time :)
