Addendum: The model has marks of paint/varnish chipped off, and broken parts. Quite often I film all the glamour shots after the core parts of the video - sadly in this instance it led to the final product being damaged and me being so disheartened I couldn't bring myself to do anything but just film it as it was! This is not the kit or Airfix's fault - just me needing to be more careful about my cat! 💜💜💜💜

I would suggest you invest in an artist's oil set from Hobbycraft or similar. Get some low odour thinners. You can then mix your own washes and filters.

Great kit and fantastic subject. Can i recomend flory models dark dirt wash, couldnt get some to send you as hes out of stock atm but i will get some to you shortly, you just cover the whole model! It looks a mess and possibly that you ruined all your work BUT take a slightly damp tissue or cotton bud and stroke in the direction of airflow and youll be amazed! Plus if you dont like the results simply wash off with warm water .. win win its fixed using a clear coat just to give your model the finishing look of a working warbird.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've been suggested some oil paints too so I'll have lots of techniques to try...and I've got my Lancaster to try them on! 😊💜

Very good M another great Video. I see Archie well he really does like getting involved so not to worry. Nice camo again on this one. Looks like a very nice little kit to build. Perhaps a Mark 2 Hurricane again could be next followed by the Typhoon or upgraded Tempest. I checked out by the way the 186K airbrush and it looks really good to order and I think those Life Colour paints are looking like the first choice where brush and air brushing are now concerned. I'm cleaning up at the moment my dust riddled models but I'm hoping I can send in pictures over the next few months on mine to all. Plus purchase that new air brush soon. Thank you again for the Hurricane video. I'll watch the other video on the Hurricane later. Bye for now Dean.

I'm getting the Dual Action of the one I have too so I'm really hoping to get some even more precise action with the Fengda which is likely my go to going forward! I love Lifecolor paints but have been gifted some others to try which I'll do a video on soon! Got a unique idea for it! Archie loves jumping on me models! Haha 💜💜

Really enjoyed that, you do have to be careful where you apply the glue on Airfix propellers!! 😮 and landing gear!!! OMG but your Hurricane finished up looking nice. Happy modeling 💜
