Good to see a rare Italian plane kit they made some lovely looking beasts but few made it into plastic

AvUSK aka Xotic did some strange stuff rarely ignored by mainstream kit companies. I have their Ki-115 and F2G in the stash unbuilt. I have never seen the SM84 in the plastic so that was great. I hate vacform clear parts so I commend you for doing your own. I agree the RA had some fantastic camo schemes for the early war stuff then it went boring dark green over grey.

ANY Regia Aeronautica type is a treat to see! The yellowing of the glazing will probably be a lot less apparent after assembley and painting I think. I think building the Italeri rather than Airfix SM79 might be a good warm up for this build and would give you another sm79, which there are so many goofd colour schemes for!

What makes you think I should do the Italeri one? Maybe I should do both 👀. The yellowing, I agree. I reckon on the model it wouldn't be that bad, but I'm gonna try making a replacement anyway!

As you have built and restored the Airgix kit, then the Italeri kit would mske gor variety.

Hi Ms Modeller. Nice to see you loking well and happy. I am assuming that your ribs are getting better. I,ve often fancied building a SN79 by Italeri but never got around to it. I have a couple of MC220's which I will get round to one day. Anyway Iam glad that you got your dream kit after all. All the best , good luck.

Ma'am this is cool ass heck. It's an Aviation USK kit. Check it out. Aviation USK was an old school Ma and Pop model distributor from the Sates. Back when you had to mail in your order. Literal mail. And actually their kits like CMR and anything else from the Czech Republic were in suck limited numbers you literally had to write a wishlist on a card, mail it in and wait for a reply. I got a CMR Tempest MkII. So they decided to contract a Czech manufacturer to produce a few kits. You struck gold my friend.
