I've ridden 160.000 kilometers solo around the world and still counting! My name is Noraly, I'm Dutch and passionate about motorcycles, traveling and adventuring. In 2018, I quit my job, sold my belongings and have been traveling the world fulltime by motorcycle since then. Over 40 countries later, I am in West Africa, riding all over the incredible African continent. My loyal companion is named Alaska, because I rode her all the way up to the northern tip of Alaska before coming to Africa. She is a Honda CRF300L Rally with tonnes of modifications!

Well, by now, you've realized the vintage Africa Twin does not have a fuel gauge. I've never had a motorcycle that had one... anyway, the scenery in this episode was STUNNING - and Fianarantsoa looks fantastic! You definitely made Madagascar look worth visiting.

Most of Older bikes don't have fuel gage. At best you have a reserve indicator. On that Africa twin RD07 you should have two lights that will turn on at ~80km range (yellow) and 40-50km (red). Best practice is to measure the actual km ridden when they first show! Fuel tank should be between 300-350km range. The TRIP indicator should also start counting the reserve km when the first light turns on. 😉

You are itchy boot corrupt police is itchy palms. Entire police department is like that only to save their face they have sacked the two fellows. Even indian police is heavily corrupt indian police even steals gold jewellery from the dead body of women who meet with accident. One case happened in my town. The police returned the gold since the family of the women was rich and influential.

Noraly is such an inspiration especially for young ladies. Her can do, positive and friendly attitude sets such a good example. I make sure my 13 year old granddaughter watches as well so she can see what is possible.
Under the fuel tank, there likely is a three positions valve for the fuel supply to the engine. One position is "off", then there is "on", which, as the name implies is the position to use while driving. However, this position won't allow the tank to go empty. When the motorcycle is starving for fuel, there is about three or four liters of fuel left. The third position on the valve, which is "reserve", will allow you to use the leftover fuel to reach a fuel station.

This bike has a fuel tap to switch from main tank to reserve, when you drain the main tank you need to switch the tap to reserve and you have 5l of fuel left in reserve, if you leave it in reserve you'll drain the whole tank before you know 😂 Makes it more interesting, love my RD07 ❤

For Fuel consumption on the Africa Twin when you fill up “zero” the mileage counter on the dash and wait till you fill up again. Check the mileage and this will give you an indication of the consumption 🙏

Yes, and no ego, he never tried to steal the spotlight. Did his job with determination and respect. Noraly was probably a bit nervous about adding a fulltime person to her channel, if even for a short time because she is very particular of her content.
