No electric cars: Ox-wagons instead. MADAGASCAR 🇲🇬[S7-E94]

In part 2 of the first ride in Madagascar, the dark clouds finally catch up with Didier and me. There is a hurricane system offshore of Madagascar and that can bring lots of rain. In the meantime, I have flashback to the crazy slippery mud in Cameroon...

Only experienced motorcycle riders can appreciate just how skilled and strong a rider Noraly is. That poor Madagascan had his work cut out for him. Noraly's endurance is not just for a race, or a week-end, it is day after day after day, around the world. I salute you, one of the world's best riders.

Norally ,,,I have ridden on the back of your motor bike for 641 episodes and you have taken me to the arctic circle twice, the two southern Capes, across India and the Himalayas documenting the country as you go.

The cameras can never show the true level of difficulty of the road she is experiencing. No idea why not, but it is a fact. Appreciate the riding she does for us

Dear Friends just left Madagascar to come back home to Canada after 6 years of Medical Mission work in Mandritsara. They spoke of the hearts of the beautiful people, and the poverty. Also the roads. Wonderful people living in a beautiful country in very difficult situations. We in the West live in luxury and take it for granted. Thank you Noraly soo much for all you show us and teach us. Your attitude is so beautiful accepting and gracious. What an ambassador and teacher you are..

Well, I am glad you are not going at Didier speed, "he can ride," like you said. But at his speed, we wouldn't be able to see, appreciate, or enjoy all the beauty you have shown us. So I very much prefer your way of riding and taking in all your surroundings. Thank you for all your hard, beautiful work! ❤

Madagaskar is one of the poorest countries in the world. Lots of people are in a desperate situation.

Anyone teaching Africa in a Jr. high or High School geography class should use these videos, imo. Noraly shows us an Africa many in the West are not aware of. Such beautiful landscapes and wonderful people.

I'm speechless. That looked incredibly tough, 10 hours of mainly thick mud, then Noraly just says how much she enjoyed the ride! Good to know she will get rewarded with the world-famous sites of Morondava.

Can we take a moment to appreciate Noraly? Especially her attitude even towards the animals she meets on her way? She is so polite, welcoming, and collected. Even when the going gets tough, she remains calm. She is like a parent who hides her tears in order to let her children go strong and not see her pain and brokenness. She rides facing danger in a calm way. Honestly, I wake up every day worried about her. We have become like a family now. Hi sis, my spirit is with you. Good morning from Accra Ghana 🇬🇭

My favourite time of the day is watching Itchy Boots latest video. Being in Bali there is a significant time difference from when she releases the new video. Just finished my breakfast and waiting for her smiling “Good Morning Internet”. Off on another adventure today with Noraly❤😊

Madagascar is really impressive - didn't realise just how big this island was! Beautiful countryside, rich fertile soil, cute towns and villages, litter free with such industrious hardworking people eeking out a living in one of Africa's poorest countries. Ox wagons and wheelbarrows add a unique insight into Madagascan lifestyle. Noraly, it's a joy to follow your travel vlogs, educating us all en route!
