Angola police can't believe I did it 🇦🇴[S7-E86]

In this episode, I try to explain my choice of route through Angola and why I am taking this route - and then I set off for a monster ride: 640 kilometers to Saurimo. That should be possible, unless you get crazy lines at the petrol stations and get stopped by the cops...

Alaska seems to be in good condition. She is running wild over 110 kilometers per hour. Well done Alaska. I met a man at gymn here in Finland. I had my Itchy Boots t-shirt on. He said "have you been watching Itchy boots"? I said, yes every episode and he said, me too. After that we had lots of Itchy Boots stories.

I noticed some comments where viewers got bored during the map talk portion of this video. Not Me! With the advent of computers in the 80s, then internet mapping systems, and now GPS mapping there are very few people under 60 y/o (at least here in the states) that can actually read a paper road map to figure out how to get somewhere. Society has become so reliant on GPS/digital systems that paper maps have almost went the way of the dinosaur. Noraly teaches us so many things, some more subtle that others, like as simple as the importance of map reading. Thank You Noraly for keeping this practice alive. Peace! ❤❤❤

@@lucindavillarreal2676 I always look/take a road atlas map when planning a cross country trip so when plugging destination into GPS I know if its charting my preferred route. Big paper map seems so much easier to see at a quick glance when choosing a route or doing spur-of-the-moment reroute. I like how Noraly has all the borders highlighted. When her GPS died she relied on her phone, but if no cell reception then what? Map always works! 😊😉

Watching videos on KZread is great fun, but few content providers rise to the level of quality we get consistently from Noraly. It is both a combination of where her adventures take her and how she presents that material to all of us... camera work, drones, descriptions, music is put together beautifully. It makes complete sense that she would attract sponsors to support her journeys and viewers who wouldn't miss an episode. Thanks Noraly for giving me a window on the world... in places I will never visit myself.

Hello Noraly, that red yummy fruit with tiny black seeds is a dragon fruit. Great artwork! At 7:55 is the wall painting of Great Queen Nzinga of Ndongo and Matamba. She is a lengend in Angola and Africa. She fought fiercefully against the Portuguese slave capturing armies. She had a good military training and as queen she demonstrated her tactical brilliance on many battle fields. I salute the immortal resisting spirit of the Queen!

Be very careful between Luacano and Cazombo because it's a swamp region below sea level, and if it's raining, you might have to cross some deep water roads. The diference is not the oil... Is the culture. Angola is an old portuguese colony... And the rest you need to find for yourself, why there is a big diference.

I am very grateful to KZread because sometime a few days ago a video of you Norally was shown to me. I watched it and was enchanted. Yes, I would have wanted to do that too, forty years ago when I was your age. It's a bit too late now, but I've been travelling with you ever since, now in Africa and retroactively with your first trip from India to the Netherlands. And I will watch all the videos and explore the world with you. You're already doing a great job. I would probably never have had your patience and kindness, so it's good that I didn't have to cross the borders of strictly totalitarian states. Although I did grow up in such a state. I appreciate freedom all the more, as long as it still exists. Maybe our paths will cross somewhere at some point. Thank you for the wonderful hours in front of my big screen...

I'm a bit sad we don't get to see you visiting Benguela and Lobito, Huambo ...in Lubango, the Tundavala and riding the beautiful Serra da Leba road towards the Namibe desert and the Atlantic coast...but I can imagine how challenging the crossing to Zambia could be and how great the episode will be! Safe travels!

Hats! Off. Africa, the best and most gorgeous - was possible to realize due to Noraly's ride all across Africa. She was lucky that she saw a group of lions at very close range (in one of her old videos ) while she was riding by herself. Bravo!

Hi . I really enjoy your adventures. I live in Mbala, Zambia. I would highly recommend that you do the waterfalls tour in Luapula Province and Northern Province. You start at Mansa then move into Mbareshi and then Mporokoso making your way to Kasama and then onto Mbala where we have the Kalambo Falls which is twice the hight of the Victoria Falls. I know your followers will love all the falls. You could do a mini series within a series. From Mbala you can easily enter into Tanzania. It is also very easy to get to Lake Tanganyika from Mbala. My wife and I will be starting a 11 000 km ride to South Africa going down through Botswana and coming back through Namibia so we may miss you if you decide to come our way. Well enjoy. Will keep watching!!

Welcome to Saurimo!... in order to go to Zambia you need to take the road to Muriege, then Sacaluila and Luacano, and before you reach Cazombo you will cross the Zambezi river bridge.... then you can go south directly to the Zambia border at Caripande-Chamuva border post. Have a nice ride!

"We usually take planes." I've heard that before. Seven years ago I went to Australia and mentioned to people that I was planning to drive across to Perth. They said the same thing, except they added, "There's nothing to see." You and I know there's ALWAYS something to see, but who knows, you might have different challenges. I did love the painted buildings. They were excellently done. Stay safe out there.
