Yes Noraly is such a good role model on how not to be "judgmental" and considering some of the horrendous conditions we have seen her in, if anyone had a right to be it would be her. She shows us places on camera and leaves it up to the viewers to make their own judgement and she doesn't have to say a word. She is impressive in so many ways. I have changed as a person because of trying to follow her example. Peace!

Noraly continues our education showing us Madagascar. Being from US and not a world traveler, of course I have heard the country but am clueless beyond the catchy name. Sure I could Google it but getting the Itchy Boots tour is much better way to learn and Noraly's methods of teaching help us retain what we learn. G'day Lucinda - It is something she is still dealing with rain! I imagine it was tough decision to get a guide, but we know and trust her instincts/ intelligence and there may have been other reason(s) not mentioned to use a guide in Madagascar. Thinking it may have been a bit of mental challenge for Noraly to be with someone day and night because most of her decisions suddenly have a new factor into the equation that she is not used. Peace!

Madagascar definitely isn’t what I expected. Really interesting to see the difference between the capital and then the rural areas. Ox carts, push bikes, motorcycles and walking are the main forms of transportation away from the city. Reminds me a little like East Timor in the early 2000’s. Great that you have a guide. What a bonus it was for you on that first obstacle. Let’s just build a bridge!! Easy. “Could have built a ramp and jumped it but not sure if my motocross skills are up too it!!!” Classic Noraly. 😊 Another great day on the adventure you are taking us on. 👏👏
