Great video with really great points and solutions, unfortunately I don't think they'd ever consider listening to fans for ideas of solutions to a franchise that's (in their opinion) not broken. Am I the only one who really REALLY hates Violas design?? If Cereza is gone permanently and they want to continue with Viola I'm never buying another Bayonetta title... The first Bayonetta is still to this day one of my top 5 games of all time, 2 was not bad in any way either just not quite as good as the first, and now 3, I had it on my wishlist but when I saw some gameplay by Maximillian I realised the Switch was holing the game back performance wise and also the overall story just as explained in this video is nothing but a total mess and I think the damage is too severe for them to recover from, so for me I'll probably just replay 1 & 2 and be happy with that.

I struggle to think of examples of media that somehow manage to destroy ***every*** single character in the franchise one by one until everyone just sucks and the whole community wants everything to be completely restarted again. Cereza, Jeanne, Luka, Viola, you name it. Every single character here just feels..... Off. And now they're *all* dead except for Viola. So what's left to do other than wait for them to bring everyone back? ...if they even do at all.

Their is one thing I'm a little confused about. You mention how Balder/Loptr head back 500 yrs to become the villain we encounter in Bayo 1. While I know this would solve the issue about the Left Eye being erased by Loki, this doesn't explain how Balder got back the Right Eye unless their is a bit of lore that I missed.

After getting my hands on Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the lost demon, it feels like the multiverse was planned out. When you play the first time and end the story, you achieve the Right eye costume for little cereza. as soon as you do, you also receive a higher level of difficulty to replay, once finished, you receive bayo 2 outfit. there also pops up a separate minigame with jaunne, where she encounters Singularity as a child, he then shows her future where she gets stabbed and pursuades her to drop Cereza otherwise this future will take its toll. Jaunne declines and helps her friend out. At first i thought this was random, but then the Villian said "Arch-Eve" to Cereza when he showed Jaunne the vision. This led me to believe, once you play the first time, its the bayo 1 timeline. When you unlock the harder difficulty and play that, you play the childhood of Bayo 2. When playing Jaunnes arc, which is very close to the other times, we witness the timeline of Arch-Eve, meaning Bayo 3. We also meet a Boy named Lukaon but kill them in both the bayo 1 and 2 run, but dont encounter him in the Arch-Eve branch.

I didnt like the gameplay this time around, it focused too much on the demon summon mechanic and I didnt like viola or her gameplay segments at all...also didn't like the semi open world or the performance issues it brought, linear world worked just best. All they had to do was improve from bayonetta 2 not overhaul it to a point it looses its own identity.

Its definitely an undercooked mess, from downgraded graphics to unstable framerate, the little costumes there is are shite, but at least we have a ton of pointless colour variations..and the whole semi open world idea needs to be scrapped asap, linerer bayonetta was fine as is, what also needs to go is the whole monster summons, terrible addition to the game. Take note to the combat in DMC, it never changed, only improved.

Rodin not knowing that the other universies were under attack and destroyed and we had to hear it from viola at the start... You can argue the attacks all happened at the same time but if so why did luka hear the voice since he was a child? That implies the destruction of universes started happening years ago... What did rodin go "huh a bunch of universes were destoyed no biggy"

My main issue in 3’s writing is that Origins feels like a necessary pre-read for a lot of it to make sense. Fixing a story (kind of) a few months later in a spin-off not everyone will play is just not the move, it bugs me.

People was not complaining cause it was the continuation of the first game story but here its different It feels bad cause its a beautifull but too short and mostly origins story If origins was a 4 big game and continuation of the 3rd game the "necessary pre read " would not be a point What is wrong is not origins itself but the fact that we need another game to answer all question of the 3rd game Kinda funny when you think about it 2 bayo game to solve each other mystery's And 3 game for resolve the 3rd game of the franchise ❤️💙💜😅
