That screenshot was in the first game. In the scene where she said I’ll let you in on a little secret Cheshire, you need to hone your sense of smell my dear, there’s no rosemary in the perfume, after all rosemary is a demon repellent

That screenshot is from when we are first introduced to Luka and he mistakes the smell of angels for the smell of Bayonetta and she steps beside him and shots the angel before it strikes luka

In chapter 2 after the beginning part

Origin Cereza is Brave Cereza, Nintendo of America tweeted this with the trailer "Once upon a time, there was an Umbra Witch named Cereza, a young version of the Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3..." When Viola summoned Cheshire for the first time in The Gates of Hell you hear Bayo saying "Cheshire" in a somewhat melancholic way. Maybe she lost her Cheshire demon at some point in her timeline.

Bayo 3's main chatacter is brave cereza, a grown up version of the little one from bayo 1, a bayo who was never sealed away for 500 years, brave cereza had a different past, and she's quite different in terms of personality to the original. Bayo 3's main character is not the same bayo from the first two games.

Honestly, I'm still waiting to see a Bayonetta variant that uses sage magic

Has anyone talked about the beginning of B3 where Cereza gives some kind of fairy power (?) to Viola before dying...and actually calling her Viola instead of Kitty (which probably means that was her real mum?)

The thing that kamiya said about cereza facing something really challenging before she became a witch would definitely come to light in this game instead of actually Bayo 3. Another note, looking at the border of the book at the corners, it holds the same style from aesir and the remembrance of time.

1:20 that's the first introduction to Luka by the window. That's where Bayonetta shoots the window in Chapter 2

1:16 that’s when Luka is talking to Bayonetta about her perfume, then he points at the mirror and bayo shoots at it, then we transition from normal realm to purgatorio through a falling mirror piece and she says that, “after all rosemary is a demon repellent”.

I personally think that the cereza from the new game is the mother of Viola, because in her info she's referred to bayonetta B 0

This Game is also kind of hinted by the logo to be the Bayonetta 0 game

The Cereza from this new game is probably Whittingham Fair Bayonetta (AKA Viola’s mom) as this one has the Cheshire that turns into demons and probably battles alongside her as this Cheshire has no signs of going through battles yet (Cheshire in Bayo3 has a scars and a chopped ear) so this is the same Cheshire that is passed down to Viola. Additionally, at the beginning of Bayo3, WF Bayo passes some sort of power to Viola which makes her get the constellation symbol on her leg Stryder has on his chest meaning this Bayo got fairy magic from somewhere AKA. Avalon Forest. Else, then Brave Cereza did all this crap on her own and Cheshire died or smth and she forgot everything thus the name of the game “Cereza and the Lost Demon” cause the only Demon Cheshire we have seen so far comes from Viola’s world

Viola time displaced little cereza as a child and her true name unknown. In the process loses her memories and powers.

It's possible Origins is going to be the backstory of both WF Bayo and Bayo3 given their similarities with eachother. It's likely the reason Cereza is saving her mother is because Rosa is running out of time due to her infernal contract since umbra witches need to kill angels or they are dragged to inferno.

I think contract allows for certain conditions where the witch can't kill angels because Bayonetta 1/2 was sealed away for 500 years and as soon as she got up and about, business as usual.

I think the cereza we play in origins is viola's mom as it would make sense how Cheshire was with viola as it would probably be a gift from her mom

I think, this Bayonetta is mother of Viola, because demo for this game you fined in her Album, and Viola has Fairys powers (from her Father)

Honestly I'm happy with bayonetta future. She's getting this spinoff game and a 4th game maybe in the future

Seeing this trailer and not being able to get the secret ending for it in Bayonetta 3, I am so glad to see a more Okami like artstyle in this gaming era. Like this game is vastly different than the previous 3 games for sure, but seeing that idfference makes me excited to see what else this game has to offer in terms of presentation.

Among what I'm sure will be plenty of "Okami-isms" in this game, what I like is the "dimensional terrain" that some fairy enemies summon when you battle them. It's like how the Demons created "barriers" in Okami!

I love how each monster in the Bayonetta games take there own spins on the monster barrier thing for each of them

My headcanon plot for bayo 3 : In viola’s universe luka isn’t a comedic character rather a genuine love interest that’s how whittingham fair bayo fell in love with luka. In the ending Jeanne survives sigurd’s attack and holds viola while she cries out for bayonetta as she’s being dragged into inferno while luka ( in brave cereza universe ) looks on helplessly as he cannot grab her soul. So jeanne takes bayonetta’s place as viola’s mentor.

My theory is that this Cereza will be the Whittinghams timeline, due to that one having magic and then passing it on to her daughter Viola in the Records of Time in Bayonetta 3 while she was killed off

I love this game, I think the lady with the diadem and the blue lipstick is Jeannes mom, the umbran leader. I also belive that this is a necessary game, I never forget how in the bayo 1 introduction Jeannes mom imprisons Rosa and says, "This child must be kept from the path of the dark arts forever" yet bayo became an umbra witch, I think that's why shes fighting to become a witch, also I think that fairy gave her her powers.

My only question about this theory is what about the left eye the Ceraza has? All three games talk about it but I feel like we still no nothing of it’s power. Could the power that she’s given in this game, could the fairy power actually be something about the eyes of the world?

Hey Rakun, have you seen the new content from Bayonetta Stuff’s KZread channel? They managed to not only complete the story in Pure Platinum on Normal Mode, but will continue to do so with each playable character and on each other Difficulty mode. They also uncovered more details on the variants unused for the game, in which we would’ve had an open-world version, even though the current Switch consoles couldn’t handle the processing to make it happen, say the same for possibly the processors in their current studio engine until improvements are made.

11:53 Clearly a "Mad Hatter" reference. Can't tell about the boy in white, but the especulations about the "Lost Demon" has been way too overcomplicated. It's clearly Cheshire and the game will obviously explain his connection to Cereza and possibly how he became Viola's pal. I remember reading, that Rosa was imprisoned for "having a hand in the death of another Umbran Witch", besides her relationship to a Lumen Sage. Maybe this story will involve that little detail as one of the reasons. My last point is the involvement Balder and Lumen Sages in general. Since this story revolves about the beings of Twilight, than the Lumen Sages should be as equally present as the Umbran Witches, to form a balance between the clans of Light and Darkness.

1:17 If my memory serves.. It's from the beginning from either Chapter 1 or 2 from the first game. Where we first see Luka running away from some officials in Vigrid only to almost get ambushed by Angels. Cereza starts to take down the Angels while also teasing Luka

I'm personally of the opinion that this Origin Cereza is the same Bayonetta from the prologue/Viola's timeline. If that were the case, it could explain Viola's close relation with faery magic and how her infernal demon is Chesire (inherited from her mother/Bayonetta 0?)

So if Bayonetta and Cereza meet each other in every dimension, what if this is the genesis of that pact? She makes her own reality, after all. That's the whole motif of 3. I think they're gonna flip it into her calling him Cheshire cause Cheshire(the demon) always comes to her aid, like Luka does now.

She appears in the secret chapter from Bayonetta 3 ( the demo ), so she is going to appear in the game

That seen was when Luka was monologuing to Bayonetta and she's startled him just before the "there's no rosemary in the perfume"

The cutscene in bayonetta 1 you're talking is the cutscene in chapter 2 when bayonetta first met Luka

I guess that’s what Ms. Halle meant when she said that they were gonna do a spin off with Jen and not to buy that either. And honestly for another $60, no thanks, it’s not a full fledge action game, it’s gonna be just like the little chapter we got in 3 and I honestly hated it and just played for the costume.

Making Bayo 1 et 2 differents characters wasn't painful enough, they are planning to make a 4th bayonette with this game? They are just ruining a story already ruined.

I will deffinitelly not be paying 60 bucks for this game, no matter how much of a fan I am, I have my limits, Kamiya stressed me out way too much XD. I will probably just watch someone playing and if after what, 30-50 minutes in I enjoy the game I will consider getting it. So far I didn't enjoy what they gave us, and I really don't like that the game was listed as a DLC in game files and now it's a full release costing a triple A price. Nope. XD
