Right, Loki. Almost forgot about him. What if he were to make a reappearance on Bayonetta 4, where he's grown up, perhaps help Viola on whatever adventures they might face?

I wouldnt count out Cereza and Luka have ended up in a place other than Hell. If you think about it, if the pacts that bound the Umbra and Lumen to their respective afterlife's was 100% fullproof, then Jeanne would Never have ended up somehow almost being consumed by the demon Alraune. She wouldlve went straight to Madama Styx and that wouldlve been that. Maybe in the 24 hours in between being completely absorbed into one of the other realms one has the opportunity to intervene, whether through speed or strength to take one's soul somewhere else.

This is my theory to what could have could happen in Bayonetta 4: After being dragged into Inferno, Cereza and Luka find themselves to be in the afterlife forest of Avalon, but after an x amount of time. Cereza does not wish for idle peace and leisure, she and Luka wonder if they are able to return to Earth and alive. So they travelled through the forest of Avalon, but: the king of Avalon’s afterlife: Fae King Arthur, refuses for them to leave, due to him being reunited with a counterpart/reincarnation of his son, they have no choice but to fight and afterwards Luka/Lukaon counterpart or his memories speak to Arthur. Meanwhile, Jeanne is researching methods to how to revive Cereza. As we learned from Cereza and the Lost Demon, Jeanne most likely soul projected throughout the entire mission that she carried out in order to find Sigurd. So she returned to the village of the Umbra Witches and possibly the village of the Lumen Sages, in order to find anything she can get her hands on to find a way to revive someone even after their heart pocket watch has stopped. But despite her efforts on researching everything Luman and Umbra texts, there is nothing that can be used to find anything on resurrecting them. And this is where Loki returns. He does explain a method that can bring them back to life. But it would involve a lot of stuff to remotely happen. As Viola and Enzo decide to do jobs and such to pay off their tabs. She goes through her own arc, where she grows as her own being and to take the name “Bayonetta” into her own direction and belief to what both her parents and herself want. But after coming to terms of everything that she has started to believe in and represent, Jeanne returns with Loki and informs them that Cereza and Luka can be returned to them. Viola does agree to this and gets her own Bayonetta themed weapon on top of Cheshire katana. After clearing the afterlife forest of Avalon, and going through the portal to Inferno, the pair find themselves lowest pits of Inferno. And they will have to climb each layer of inferno in order to escape and bring Cereza back to life. As they go through each layer, they are confronted by their past aka illusions of their past/the actual thing. Each layer represents a sin that the other has committed. And Morgana would eventually meet then, either as a guide/foe but she will be both amazed that Lukaon’s soul managed to reincarnate as a human/sense the deceasdd Lukaon and Arch Adams inside of Brave Luka. Previous Enemy’s that can be used to ‘cleanse themselves to return to Earth’ Baldr Jubileus Loptr Puca Singularity Morgana But the final one: Sheba. Sheba may be a possible enemy to Cereza and Luka due to her being the Queen of Inferno, she may perceive as all inhabitants to never leave Inferno. Lol thats my theory on what can happen in Bayonetta 4.

It is still so insane to me, that Luka was on the picture- I mean it could be that Bayo and Luka would go to the fairy realm!!! Or what I think would be even more crazier, if they would go to the Avalon forest!!! Idk would be cool to see, the Avalon forest in Bayo 3 graphic💜😭 I just hope we will see more Viola Variants!! That would be so cool!! Hopefully they will bring more fantasy aspects into the 4 game!! 😭💜

I’m just gonna say this I blame Viola for Bayonetta’s death if Viola didn’t rush head first into battle against singularity than she wouldn’t have been captured by him forcing Luka to save her and let Bayonetta die.

The million dollar question ARE BAYO/CEREZA COMING BACK IN BAYO 4?!

My personal copium theory is that they made Luka and bayo Canon so that we wouldn't have to deal with it in the future. I mean, they went out of their way to establish the miltiverse and say that there's only 1 Luka now and a shit ton of bayo so anytime we see bayonetta in the future that isn't brave cereza, there's no Luka attached

I just want concrete 100% official proof they're alive and well

I believe Cereza is still alive, possibly in inferno or the Avalon forest. Whenever Cereza dies in Cereza and the lost demon she’s put in the crystallized thing but she is frozen in time and whenever it happens blue light and color starts forming around to engulf her. I believe that’s that Luka did to Cereza at the end of Bayo 3 but we just don’t know if they’re crystallized in inferno or the forest yet, I’m thinking more in Inferno. There could possibly be a spin off game of Jeanne too because when Hellena went on her career ending spree hurting only herself she did say something about a Jeanne spin off, possibly in this spin off Jeanne saves Bayonetta? Thing is how we will get a Umbran Witch watch on her since hers broke which makes me believe Viola would sacrifice herself and use her own watch? But we don’t even know if Viola has one since yes she’s an umbran witch but we never see her watch. EDIT I just realized, like where tf is Viola’s watch? Like…it’s kinda weird for Bayonetta to have a child and not teacher the lesson to always have it close to her heart because that’s what Bayonetta 1 told baby Cereza and Bayonetta watch is always on her chest because to “always have it close to your heart” yet Viola doesn’t have one which is weird considering she’s an Umbran witch and all of them have one.

Good point about the watch. Could it also be that once they reach a certain age is when they get it? Doesn't make sense that cause Y.Cereza got hers from Rosa. Maybe Viola's Mother decided that rather than burden her with responsibilities, she could be a normal kid but prepared as well before she gets the symbol of the Umbra and later learn about her Faerie half, if Luka is aware in this timeline. But due to Singularity, it was abruptly cut short. This is my sad H.C anyway. 😭😭

Brave Cereza at the very least must come back, you can't just cancel bayonetta like that. My headcanon is that the other Bayo-s and Jeanne-s already got "sent" back to the timeline they featured in, with Brave Jeanne being the exception, turning up at some point near the beginning of Bayo 4.

YOUR MINDDDD I hope this turns out to be true omg. Eagle eye here noticing something I completely overlooked with the question of where Faeries go after their soul leaves them. As for the cards, I would love to do a game styled like that where you solve mysteries for people as Viola while learning more about metaphysical lore within the Bayo multiverses.

Everyone talking about Cereza meeting Morgana in inferno when Chesire is RIGHT THERE?! The entire game of Origins built up their friendship before he returned to inferno with the two promising to meet again and both become stronger.

Wouldn't it be crazy if viola found the book that tells the story (Like Rakunx said) of the fairies and how everything went down and then Luke on shows up he and Viola start talking and then she mentions what she learned in the books and then he teleports her somewhere she starts to look around and then she sees Bayo 1 and bayo 2 and then they help her learn and to control her fairy and Umbra Magic on her way to save Bayo 3 WE MUST HAVE HOPE

Yuuuussss new videooooo!!! 😍😍 Ok just watched it. It would make an interesting parallel for Cereza and Viola to go to a respective realm. Cereza did explore Paradiso and Inferno, both of her heritages, so it could make sense for Viola to do the same, except it's Faerie afterlife and not Paradiso. I swear to Sheba though, would be freaking hilarious to see King Puca again. With Viola's sassiness, I would not be surprised if she references the Origins encounter and Cheshire looking at him like "this pest again?" 😂🤣 Would be super interesting too, if Lukaon fully passed on and Cheshire returned to Inferno, how did they return? More so Lukaon cause a Demon will always come back (like William Afton, lol) unless something really ends them. 🤔🤔 Would be fun to have Viola encounter Ignis and the other Wisps again!! Every time Viola achieves something, she gets a little story only to realise it was about her mother in the end. 😭 I do love the idea of it starting with that one (1) request as well!! Where else could a book like this be found unless it's by accident or an ideal lead for an enemy. Where Morgana could return in all this, idk actually. R.I.P my Madama Butterfly and Antonio theories though, I hope they return with Loki either way!! Baal for Viola demon partner with Cheshire as well please!! 🎤😼🎶

I actually think the best approach plotwise seeing Bayonetta (the one who made Brave Cereza and Met Loki [after a timeskip throw in some plot stuff]) should work alongside Viola to rescue her (blending the tone of all three games) I mean she would be helping her daughter rescue her Bayonetta that died for Viola's safety. Otherwise a fakeout or something else will happen but one think in for sure OG Bayonetta never had to play 4D Chess to get the job done Jeane is more that style. Even Colour My World is less agile and more tanky vs Bayo's other guns. OG Bayonetta "The Witch of Revelations": It's like watching a piece of yourself die. Viola: We knew the feeling way too well OG Bayonetta: we haven't got much time, even if things are dark you'll still find hope to keep going.........

As neat as this is I also kind of hope Viola's story is her getting home to her Bayonetta assuming she's revived.

Hmmmm… I dunno, at the end of the game, when it jumps to present day restored NYC, they show us pink trees, I assume Sakura trees. In Japanese culture, Sakura blossoms stand for new beginnings… they obviously picked the Sakura on purpose, as they don’t really grow in NY. So I’m still kinda hooked on the *Cereza is GONE* theory

It could be that he transported cezera and himself somewhere else or they could still be in inferno and here's the thing both lukaon and luka himself exist in brave cezera timeline and lukaon is a luka variant lukaon even refers to luka as his elsefellow and also when we lose in the game it states that lukaon regains his body and becomes king of avalon but that's only happens if you lose so the lukaon in Bayonetta 3 is a different lukaon to one in the games so what I'm saying is the souls of the faeries go to the faerie afterlife and then afer a amount time reincarnate its only way for both lukaon and brave luka to exist in the same timeline so that's my theory as where faerie souls go And if they are in still inferno it would be cool to see Morgana interact with the son she hasn't seen in 500 years and cezera too It's possible that he could have telportes her somewhere else but nothing is concrete for now

It makes sense because that white light that was around them. When Brave Cereza told Viola about her taking the name Bayonetta you can see her witch clock is whole and not destroyed anymore. When Gomorrah knocked Jeanne out of her body she was immediately dragged into inferno and Bayonetta had to go to inferno to save her soul. Brave Cereza came back to talk to Viola before turning into butterflies and leaving. So I hope she is in the fairy underworld or the Avalon forest. I hope we see brave Cereza I'm Bayonetta 4 :)

I don't think so. Luka just isn't that experienced and BARELY got the hang of transforming. Even if Origins Bayonetta is 3's, remember how she activated the Left Eye? Balder brought 3's Cereza to 1's timeline to do the same thing, which did when Cereza was a grown woman, not a child. Origins Cereza is most likely Viola's mom due to her having a child who has Faerie powers and even gave Viola's her magic or something which was completely purple like how Cereza in Origin's unlocked her Left Eye which radiated a purple. In short, this feels like a stretch. Cereza from Origin's is Viola's mother. Luka is just too inexperienced to even consider that, and he is human, an inexperienced one. And yes, Loki did the same, but he already experienced this and his power went out of control.

I still hope that viola isn’t in other main Bayo games 🫤

I'ma just throw this out there, but imagine: Cereza and Luka indeed went down to Inferno, they both died, but because they are human beings, they will be able to reincarnate as demons (like Madama Butterfly or Alraune), and they can serve as bosses, if not be the MAIN antagonists in the next game.🫢
