How many people who are criticizing this actually watched it? I will say that something about Neil's demeanor at first glance is odd (especially in the context of the moon landing conspiracy; which is how I first heard about it), but maybe he's overwhelmed with emotion after landing on the moon; you can see him smiling and laughing a lot here too. I decided to actually watch it and nothing about this comes off as awkward or solemn. There's a lot of cracking jokes and laughter and a lot of interesting stuff being said and shown (if you watch other videos of this press conference that include the pictures/videos that they were showing on the projection screen). I actually enjoyed this a lot and definitely didn't feel like I was at a funeral lol.

Okay here is NASA white collar Speaker without fault, no criticizable context :) “They are going to have a lander on the far side of the moon, *which is the side that's always in dark,”* Nelson responded. “We're not planning to go there.” The moon's hidden side has sometimes been referred to as the “dark side of the moon,” largely in reference to the 1973 Pink Floyd album of the same name.May 3, 2024 During a NASA budget hearing on April 17, congressman David Trone asked NASA administrator Bill Nelson why China was sending a mission to the “backside” of the moon.

Technology has made our entire system more vulnerable to attak because of being able to be hacked and stuff like that so nobody wants anything like that on their guns. When you need your gun you want it to be able to function. People who own guns aren't going to want to add this technology making it less reliable. If smart guns end up on the market they won't sell many if any at all.

My educating is starting to rub in👍 as all use to claim this was in the last Conferences, when first (august 12), let out on the 10, after semi sequestered for 2 weeks in Houston. During their time in the LRL, they conducted numerous debriefs from a glass-enclosed conference room, wrote their pilot reports, and celebrated Armstrong’s 39th birthday with a surprise party. The world tour lasted just 38 days. Not enough for Neil, in December he toured with Bob Hope.

People were extremely doubtful that the Moon would contain pathogens, but the very low risk had to be balanced against the consequences of this extremely unlikely event, which could have been disastrous. After Apollo 11, and again after Apollo 12, confidence was high that this risk was now zero and the Apollo 11 procedures could be dispensed with. It's not rocket science.

LibertyRapsher These guys shouldn't have covered this one since they were unwilling to objectively analyze the astronauts behavior and looking through the comments the vast majority of the commentators are calling them out on it. Doesn't matter what they may or may not believe they should objectively be analyzing the astronauts behavior, rather than starting from a place of truth and rationalizing their behavior so it fits within that truth... they're blatantly doing this and they're doing mental gymnastic routines that would put the greatest gymnast to shame. I downloaded this just in case they remove it, because this is going to be an awesome reference for me (not on the topic at hand), but when analyzing behavior when someone has a bias, where they begin from a place of truth and work from the position of making everything fit within that truth. For a behavior analyst, this is pretty embarrassing for them and it should be. This is gold for me when it comes to analyzing human behavior as in the behavior panelists behavior.

Excellent video. The reaction to it is similar to that of the Mythbusters episode - drastic attempts at damage limitation by hoax believers, and a rush to dismiss expert opinion because it doesn't tally with the hoax believers' predetermined conclusions and beliefs. In short, it is yet more evidence that hoax belief is an emotional, irrational and highly biased decision that no amount of contradictory evidence will ever challenge. In this respect it is indeed similar to Flat Earth belief.
