The way to get rich with crypto is simpel: have invested in Bitcoin in 2012. Oh, you can't do that anymore? The other option is to already be rich so you can buy up large amounts of crypto and trade at scale. Everybody who comes after these people is left holding the bag, as the recent crash made very clear.

She's reminds me of a sort og evangelist preacher, super deep into crypto as a religion, there are so many problems in the world but crypto will be your redemption type stuff lol

This is just damage control by the bitcoin believers and investors. I do not get the idea of taking money, converting it in to crypto, then cashing in those coins for dollars. sounds like a giant hustle to me.

I've been noticing that too. A lot of "ive been following the advice of Mr fake name and it's really helped.." then other bot accounts replying and agreeing. It's coordinated and concerning Google isn't / can't fight it.

Thank you for this enlightening video it has helped me greatly. Many a time new comers are indecisive on how to start when it comes to their personal investment growth. But great investors can provide proper guidance...

True< this is a scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make decisions based on emotions. This could actually be a good time to buy more of your high conviction stocks or crypto on a discount. Wealth is created during bear markets, not bull markets. If your portfolio is really affecting your mental health then delete the app and go for a walk. Let the market do its thing and have a long time horizon. I buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 16` btc from day trading with Mark Maxwell in few weeks this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish

I'd like to see a discussion with economists about what happens if we were to be in a situation where the whole world is using bitcoin and it has all been mined. I.e. no more money printing is happening. Do we get massive deflation? What if very few people want to lend out their bitcoin? Do interest rates go through the roof?

She played those guys like a fiddle and they didn't even notice. She says some good points about how she feels about politics and projects it onto the crypto space, and because both the host like her politics they ignore the huge issue with what she is actually saying. "Like satoshi says I don't have time to explain" you are on a podcast specifically to explain. This just shows that she doesn't have a real answer. She wants to sell you on this idea that money is just some shared delusion and that we can change the rules however we want because we have reinvented currency. Money is not a delusion it is a physical representation of value. When a farmer grows food its not a delusion before money he would barter, now he just has a money that is proof of the work that he did to produce value in the economy. Money is the decentralized negotiation of material goods and services. It has rules because human nature exist and it conforms to it. You can try to subvert those rules, but if you are too extremely people will not like the currency and it will fail. POW coins are blatantly not democratic. "but you can just mine it with your computer bro". The POW is winner take all or an oligarchy. The pools with the most computing power will win most of the time. It creates a small group of people that have complete control of an economy and whats worst is that they can change the state of the economy at will like when Etherum split because a bunch of people fell for a DAO scam. It's worse than fiat currency because at least the people who control the currency are tied to a democratic process through the president who elects and can fire the FED chair. This is made even worse, by the existence of a blockchain that allows all transactions to be tracked and with new technology that allows you to identify who holds a wallet worse than fiat which can't be tracked. POW is like authoritarianism the coin. POS is slightly better, and a more interesting example. It still has a lot of the problems list above, but at least it can claim to be more democratic. The random chance of getting a block means that it basically allows the common man to be the money printer and leech that value out of the economy. Taxes and money printing are ways that people can leech value out of an economy without actually doing anything. This creates a philosophical issue with crypto though is why are we paying such a high premium just for the privilege to transact our money? Another issue is that after a chain gets popular it inevitably faces the problem of block space limits and then slots in that block become too expensive for people to actually use the currency except for speculative purposes which is why the crypto economy is in the mess it is right now. This leads to layer 2 solutions which are absolutely stupid. The lightning network being one of them is a perfect example of missing the point. It in theory allows you to trade bitcoin without making a transaction on the chain, but what they don't tell you is that because it is not on the chain none of the promises and guarantees of the chain exist. The lightning network is a centralized business that is one point of failure, and if it goes out of business then you lose everything that they hold. This is also the problem with exchanges and custodial wallets. A lot of the issues mentioned in this chat are not issues with the money, but are issues with human nature and policy. Why do the ultra rich exist? A person in that family started a business and passed good economic habits to their kids and their kids were able to make more money with that to continue the pattern to the modern day. That or its just people who hold monopolies that are not getting busted because anti-trust laws are toothless. I am looking at big tech when I talk about this one. The education problem is an example of why subsides are bad. The government added a subside for schools and the schools felt incentivized to raise tuition rates to the max amount the government would lend, some of them would get greedy and ask for more causing the government to raise the amount they were lending causing the whole cycle to continue. The only solution to this is to stop subsidizing these colleges and let prices fall naturally with market demand. Why not the European solution with free education? America is more innovative than Europe and that is not an accident. The market pressures force Academia to produce and publish research that makes their school more desired than other schools this competition feeds into American innovation to guarantee this money would create a new class of rent seeking academics who could coast on the guaranteed cash the government would supply.

I also didn't even mention the issues with the nature of deflationary currency, and the pump and dump nature of it. The problem with something like deflationary currency is that when currency becomes more valuable simply by holding it, you de-incentivizes people from spending it. This leads to a stagnate economy where people try to reduce their spending to the max. "What's wrong with not consuming?". The problem with not consuming is that people, especially younger people don't get as many opportunities to make money, this creates dissatisfaction with the current currency. This will eventually become an abandonment of the currency, by the young, when the young abandon it the currency will tank in value and only those who sold at the peak of the value will make it out OK, everyone else will be left bag holding valueless currency right when they needed their savings the most during their retirement.

I'm curious if the hedge-against-inflation that she mentioned, as being one of the benefits of crypto, has actually panned out. It doesn't look like it has at the moment, but I'm looking at things very superficially.

Crypto isn't going to be mainstream until it's regulated. Major companies aren't risking their rep in this wild wild west environment and too many people can just make a worthless coin. I love the grounded reality of this channel..TA is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure TA and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is dropping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. The lowest loss or profit for 2022 is represented by dividend shares or dividend ETFs. ETFs are now a good choice for diversification and protecting your portfolio against growing inflation. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. This is the worst possible time in history to invest as so many don't back up their crypto assets.More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.I have made over 12 btc 4rm day tradn with Marcus Leung’s insights and signals in less than 4 weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.
