I own a few of these on switch to play handheld. But mame and emulation on my pc makes it difficult to justify buying these games. 😬
I have the exact opposite attachment to Mario 64 DS. When I was a kid, my parents were emotionally abusive. Every time I left my room, they would find a reason to yell at me, and usually punish me. I was constantly degraded, depressed, and suicidal. One of very few bright spots was when I managed to acquire a DS lite and Super Mario 64. I would sit in my room, out of sight and out of mind from my parents, and play Mario. It was the safest I ever felt at the time. There's no parents in the mushroom kingdom. No one to yell at you or ground you. I still play that game from time to time well over a decade later.
I. LOVE. THIS.
Hidden gem 💎
I don't have much in the way of valuable NES carts, but I do have some banger Famicom carts. #3 Splatterhouse Wanpaku Graffiti (complete) $187.92CAD #2 Akumajou Densetsu (complete)$190.61CAD #1 Gimmick! (loose) $693.51CAD
Fantastic list! Absolute quality!
very few games i've revisited in a while. i've revisited mega man 2 and final fantasy numerous times. thanks to switch online, i've revisited punch out and river city ransom recently. would like to play gi joe atlantis factor again, severely underrated.
Not enough of these lists have bloodborne
Pokemon HeartGold
it's a bird, it's a plane, it's SUPERMA!!!
FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET! MORE POWERFUL THAN A LOCOMOTIVE! ABLE TO GET HER CHILDREN TO CLEAN THEIR ROOM WITH A STERN GLANCE!
@@SquarePegs if only that worked with my kids. smh.
My NES collection is small but filled with huge bangers and grails games, here is my Top 5 rarest and expensive NES games. #5 Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out, #4 Dragon Warrior III, #3 Bonks Adventure, #2 Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, #1 Little Samson.
Love it! Nicely done MT!
@@SquarePegs Thanks. I saved up a lot to get those grails games
@@Mewtwo-hy6jw It's an amazing set of grails to have. Well done!
I am going to go with Chubby Cherub. My CIB Legend of Zelda is beat up so it probably takes a hit.
My Nintendo collection was traded in to FuncoLand in the early 90s. I always thought I would start up a new collection and go game hunting with my son when he was born 13 years ago, but then I started paying attention to prices. No NES collection for me!
Hyperstone Heist grab is sweet. One of my favorite games for the Gen/MD.
My collection for NES is pretty small but in terms of monetary value, there's TMNT3 and I also have a CIB copy of Castlevania 3. In terms of sentimental value, probably either the first Castlevania or Double Dragon 2.
I think NFL Street 2 should have been S tier. I loved the wall catches that they added, gamebreakers, and the different fields.
Know what, I'm gonna take the L on this one. I clearly missed something on this game that so many folks love, so I fully accept I'm wrong on my grade. Thanks for the quality compliment, Zach. Appreciate it! :)
The Tonka and the Smurfs gave me real nostalgia tingles! Yes I collected the Smurfs, too 😁 That Star Wars stuff 😍😍 Who doesn't love the Tardis, am I right? Some fantastic stores and great pickups, and why didn’t you grab the Smurfs!!!!😂
when a saw the title i was thinking about the country but still fun video
11:28 recently found a lote of games with a 360 and this tranformers game was in that lote. Selling it rn on ebay hoping to get a free xbox out of it.
Turtles!! 🐢
Split Second!! Fantastic Game! One of my favorites!
Holland 🤣 ... I have to start advertising my world travels this way too. Fun video.
These are the first 5 games that come to mind i could not put down until beaten as of modern consoles. Games i go back to play through again and again when bored. *Fire emblem Three Houses *Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild *Dragonquest 11 *Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 *Witcher 3
A+ list. Absolutely killer list of games.
I'm finally going to get my own Dragon Age inquisition deluxe edition xbox 360 video game
That's the best way to shop for games. I used to buy anything and everything, but I've pulled the reins back quite a bit over the last few years to only buy things I intend to play or that brought me happiness from when I was younger. Thanks so much for watching!
I thank you for making this videos you are a cool person
Thanks so much for watching!
street fighter alpha 3 PSP is a better port All these arcade collections are on all platforms and PC. no Collection has a good video filter the nintendo switch has a lot of input lag If you want to play an online match, the best option is PC. SF collection is INCOMPLETE on Switch, sf4 should be included
Never played the PSP port, because it's form factor isn't terribly comfortable for me. I don't really play fighting games handheld because of that. Sure, they absolutely are. I just prefer them on the Switch because I can take them with me. That's your opinion. I don't use any screen filters 9 times out of 10 because they always look like shit, but some are better than others. All modern consoles have some measure of input lag if you're playing with a wireless controller. If you're playing competitively, no shit you not playing on the Switch. If you're not, then 6-8ms of input delay isn't going to deter you from playing a game. Not an online player, so this means nothing to me. Then the SF30th collection is incomplete on literally every console because it wasn't included anywhere else, either.
Pokemon Blue, Powerquest, Yugioh Gx duel academy, Kirby Planet Robobot, Transformers Decepticons (2007).
Respect for the Decepticons reference. WILDLY underrated game.
Just found your channel! Awesome stuff! You gotta a Sub from me. The Switch had been my favorite console to collect physical games for in the last few years! So many hidden gems! 🎮😎💪🔥
Hey, thank you so much for being here!! I truly appreciate that you're willing to give my channel a chance and hope I can continue to earn that subscription. :)
Here's some arcade ports you didn't mention. Arcade Archives: Frogger, Arcade Archives: Sunset Riders, Johnny Turbo: Caveman Ninja, Johnny Turbo: Joe And Mac Returns, and of course: Arcade Archives: Donkey Kong. There are many other Nintendo and Konami arcade games in the arcade archives series. Take a look won't you?
11:33 He does mention Sunset Riders here
I have well over 300 NES games, but nothing terribly valuable. Bomberman 2 and Mega Man 5 are probably my most valuable.
Will you be there this year? I was invited by Mike (II worked at SEGA/ EA/ Namco). Would be nice to meet you!
I absolutely will! I'd love to meet you as well!
@@SquarePegs Awesome. I will hit you up before the show. My name is Erik Wahlberg. Best.
Sounds great, Erik! Looking forward to meeting!
We have similar tastes. I've got all of those games and more but I favour emulation on Android with Samsung Dex. It's excellent 👍🏼
I've heard excellent things about emulation with Dex. I'll have to look into it - thanks so much for checking the video out!
@@SquarePegs Great video man 👍🏼
Fun as always, Jay. I hate it when my games go on walkabout too- it happens on rare occasion, but it's odd isn't it? I covered Split Second in my video "More Metal Mayhem: Extreme Xbox 360 Racing Games Pt 2". Some GREAT games in there and a guest (whom you know) popped ion too. Split Second is NOW one of my all-time favorite racing games. You will love it too.
It’s a goofier the immortal John Hancock look alike
Goofier?!? GOOFIER?!? ...nah, that tracks.
Dude wtf lol. Your last vid has 12 views and was published a year ago. Are you sad no one misses you let alone know you exist? You wish you were as popular/cool as Square Pegs.
It really is amazing for ports
Crystal City, Texas home to one of the largest spinach growing towns in the south has a huge statue of Popeye and every year has a spinach cook-off festival. Kids for generations learned to eat their greens because of Popeye! Great NES game too! Very valuable game
I have the first Zelda cib, and Panic Restaurant with manual. Also Bucky O hair, and Die Hard.
Ooh Broadband; creators of Carmen San Diego. Final Fantasy is probably mine. It's value lies in being tied to memories of when my wife and I were first married.
It's priceless, in that case. :)
Yeeeezzzzzzzz Ive played all FF since NES.. still play FF over any game any console
The Broken Sword is a great stroe. My wife and I have been game hunting before in Holland as well. CD exchange is a nice store. Now since they have a new store in that area, Game Theapy, we will have to go back.
The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is not just some arcade ports, they are all arcade ports. Basically you get a package of 12 of the best mainline Street Fighter legacy arcade games with the only exceptions being that it doesn't include spinoffs (Pocket Fighter, Super Puzzle Fighters II Turbo, Street Fighter EX), fillers (Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and Hyper Street Fighter Alpha), and license arcade games (Street Fighter: The Movie the Game).
Here's me thinking you went to my home country 😅
I got TMNT 2 CIB, glad I bought one of my childhood favorite games before it got crazy on Ebay. TMNT 3 was always too expensive for me 😂
Gears of War 2 or 3. CODMW2 or 3. Motorstorm Pacific Rift. Split Second. The house of the dead overkill.
Thor as in piratesoftware thor?
Nah, my buddy @hey_its_Thor ! :)
My Top 3 are #1 Mega Man 5, #2 Mega Man 1, and #3 the first G.I. Joe game by Taxan.
Square Pegs tons of games the hunt never ends
Shout out to Peggle games! If there isn't a Boost Mobile next to you, are you even in a strip mall? I'm glad you finished the "Blinded by the light" lyrics! Sonic Arcade Racing is great!
el starwars rogue scuadron no estara para switch???
Jay, it was great having you and Kris from @GameShowDad at Gaming Therapy. I am glad you were able to find a handful of games and accessories during your stop. You both are welcome back anytime!
Brain, your store is an absolutely wonderful spot - we will absolutely be back!!
Looks like a really fun day you guys had. So weird that you guys were that close to Holland. I would have thought it was further away but then I'm not great with geography 🤷🏼♀️ Steve Craig is the man. He's making us all spend money on Xbox 360 and I'm okay with that! I love the Castlevania series as well! I'm torn whether I should play them on the collection or play it OG. I've played all the DS and 3DS one.... Was certainly not disappointed. Hell yeah on the big Sega Genesis pickup. I won't spoil it in the comments but we also have it as well and the label is a bit dingy. Who cares as long as you can play it right?! Great video my friend 😊
