My major gripe with the centre console is that there's no physical switch for fog lights. Fumbling through touch screen tabs is the last thing you want to do in low visibillity situations. Other than that I love our Mercs. PPC works like a charm. Just remember to deactivate the "Interurban" - system, as it tends to age badly, with most companies not updating their fleet.

Shouldn’t you lock rear axle of trailer before reversing with a rear steer trailer. Makes it easier. 👍🏻

Evri failed me on my reversing. A couple of things I came away with: their bays felt a lot tighter than some of the others Ive seen (they use guide pipes along the ground not vertical ones, and the vast majority of trailers are 2 axle. That makes seeing the guides really difficult (using the white markers on the bay didn't help much) and the trailers are a lot more responsive to turning and I found myself over compensating.

t's hard to find a job vacancy 4on 4off..and if there is, you have no chance. I personally think that the 4on 4 off jobs are posted to be posted...employment is done on the basis of friendship or kinship. Believe me . I've been looking for a year and a half, you can't find it anywhere, and if you do, there's no chance. All companies have become nasty - they only have shifts Mon-Fri, or Tue-Sat, Thu-Mon...so they need drivers 24/7 but no rota 4/4....in fact they are looking for slaves to work at least 12-14 hours, 5-6 days a week. I love 4on/4off the most, but in vain... I started to hate this lorry driver job to the max

Why do lorry drivers always complain about everything... Drove an artic agency for 5 years, don't do it if you don't like it, but most if they didn't have a class 1 licence would be un employable...

Shouldn’t you lock rear axle of trailer before reversing with a rear steer trailer. Makes it easier. 👍🏻
