General Haulage

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I am doing general haulage. It's relatively easy work with a curtain sider. Lot of waiting around so the days can be a bit long for a truck driver. Multiple destinations also means that the time flies when you are going places.

Coolest trucker in UK. Nothing phases him, great work. My Dad was a hgv driver for breweries, he loved it, RIP Dad. ❤

Very interesting video - You would think trucks would have reversing cameras on them now.... but I suppose that would need to be fitted to every trailer

What you are referring to as Ecoroll, cutting the power on uphills is actually Predictive Cruise Control... many drivers hate it, quite a few don't understand what it does. Ecoroll is when it engages Neutral on coasting.

If you get right in to the settings go through everything I found how to switch it off on a 4h drive and you can set the cruise control up but everytime you turn off the ignition and lock it you have to do it again

This run looks very similar to fridge work that I used to do on ' AIM ' Enjoying your video logs very much ( your drop 3 there's a place that I've spent a few hours at LoL ) 😅 Personally ( for the same reason) " Comfort ' I like the Man's & DaFs .. Usually lots of Creature Comforts, including a gorgeous thick mattress ( hence nice for Tramping) But unless your very lucky, yes , nearly always preprogrammed for Economy 😮 ? At 13m 30s what's the warning on the navigation screen 😊

That bay was easy, we used to load cement or plaster of the sides from bays like that. Some bays had a bend in them, that would sort people out. But flat trailers to sheet and rope afterwards

Did Kelloggs many Years Ago and i'm Pretty sure that if there are any Shortages or Damaged Boxes the Customer has to Claim or Sign the Delivery Paperwork with the Discrepancy There and Then, (Kelloggs Rules) they cannot Sign it off as Good and then Claim Later if they find a Discrepancy once you have gone, some Companies will but that is Possibly why you had to wait, i could be Wrong though.
