A lot of that is down to agencies taking the piss, choosing who they want to dish the work out to. When I was doing agency I would allow a couple of cancellations then I'd tell them if they did it again then I would cancel them permanently - its surprising how they changed their tune when they realise you're not going to let them take the piss out of you.

Oh pal, I hate that place at Belshill. Everytime I went there it was my 2nd drop and I had to wait 2-3 hours to tip 4-10 pallets. One day I waited 3,5 hours at the bay, I had to go, otherwise I had to sleep in the truck. I called my manager that I will leave the keys in the truck and I ll return home with the train. They tipped me in 10 mins. Next time I dropped the trailer at the bay and I told my manager that if it will take longer than one hour, I will return solo. They never sent me there again. I left that crappy company two months later.

I feel your pain there mate. Most of them (agencies) are full of sh*t. There are some good ones out there but mostly you get messed about and lied to. Cancelling on people like that with no compensation should be criminal !

Bremsomat is German for brake control. It’s MAN’s downhill speed limiter set by either 2kph above the cruise control or by applying the brake pedal downhill and it will hold at the speed you release the pedal. Could be handy for downhill average speed check cameras, or the Dartford bridge.

Those videos get a lot of traffic as all newbies end up on that kind of work when they are trying to build a reputation and they go google it. That’s how I found your channel. I think I did one shift, maybe and thought Raul was right so refused any further. I guess they needed to gag you as you were very honest and very clear and turned folks like me into a one shift wonder.

Agency used to pay good money but now rates are going down to the bottom and they let you down all the time. They want you to be available entire week but give you 2-3 shifts. Previous week I've been sent to stobart site to find out I will do store delivery. I refused to do that as I applied for general haulage and it was general haulage until last week when they tried to force me to do store delivery tail lift unloading. I tried to explain that I can pull curtains, strap the load, pull 2-decker curtains but I don't do loading/unloading no matter what it is cages or pallets. Agency cried asking me to do that and they will pay me more but I said No! Honestly I'd do that if they could keep me busy but since they give me 2 shifts per week I decided there's no point to waste my time with them. I may look childish but it was the point when I had to decide what do I do and what for. Glad to see you keep busy yourself Raul!

Well dam me. I used to run into that hub and they attempted to ban me. different load different bay. Used to run to it from further away than you do and they used to give me loads of crap about being late - every time. I reared up at them in the end. I pointed out that I just drove the truck and it took as long as it took, and as far as I was concerned I was dead on time. It is their booking system that is clumsy and unwieldy and that there computers were the problem. They had the tracking on my truck and fridge so no excuse for not knowing when I was going to arrive. I could do nothing about the time my load was ready and I set off, so get off my back and stop behaving like a***holes. After seeing their manager about it, who spoke to my manager they went with it and were as nice as pie ever after. In fact I used to have a good crack with them quite often after that.

Well done Raul. They should pay you for free advertising and to show the location of their shops or sites. They do not hold bullions and it is not a fortresses for you not to film. Free country. You do a job many do not want. As a class 1 driver i can not see what you are doing wrong but otherwise a good thing. Keep going and safe journeys ahead.

Same in our coaches, first thing to do is turn off the anti-collision! Sometimes it only goes off for 5 minutes for 'safety' then comes back on, so have to keep switching off! Do you use a GoPro, which head attachment do you have, I need to change mine I have been using the GoPro grip clip onto a baseball cap but that's uncomfortable

At my workplace, completely different field of work. What I notice is that, if there is a way to speed up work. They will do it. This means like say for example, the manual handling stuff. Instead of doing the proper procedures like using lifts, with a partner, and other equipment. For the sake of making stuff done quick. They will skip all of that because its faster to do it alone, or without lifting gear and equipment and other PPE stuff. I am always afraid that if an inspector ever comes and they see that shiz. They won't be happy. Then as I check around other work places or witness how they work. Its not just at my workplace that stuff like that happen. In any other work place, any chance they can speed up the work or do it the lazy way, they will do it. That means disregarding proper work procedures. That is probably why that company that banned you was afraid of you vlogging. They are afraid that your vlog will show that the companies they provide delivery jobs for are neglecting proper work procedures. Also shows how out of spec their delivery area/depot are (not enough space etc). Something like that I guess. And the Dangerous driving cause you took your hand off the wheel? Did you cause any danger on the road when you took your hand off? Nope! So it was not dangerous at all, they were definitely looking to ban you cause they were afraid they get found out! Edit: If a Company runs their business Legitimately, They treat employees well, follow procedures well, facilities, warehouse and depots are well organized, clean and good space etc. There is nothing to be afraid of, and they will allow vlogging. If a Company hates vloggers = Red Flag = They are trying to hide something from the public.

Can't you override the ACC by accelerating? So, if you're starting to slow down behind a lorry you can still keep AAC on but get extra oomph to overtake by applying the gas. Once you overtake, you take your foot off the gas and the ACC is still on. Or maybe thats just a DAF thing?

It's amazing how many companies don't allow Vlogging. It just shows how ceappy their company is and how crappy their customers are. Drivers Vlogging is literally free advertising for carriers and the customers you're hauling for. Yet they don't allow it. It is never about safety, it's about the public seeing how shitty they really are. Especially companies like Stobarts Stobarts/Culina has made Drivers stop Vlogging, remove all videos. Even Drivers who never say anything negative about the company or it's customers. I really hate big companies and their bully tactics to hide how they really treat Drivers I understand no filming inside a warehouse but outside, what's the big deal.

Trouble with your diet/food is way to high in Carbs and carbs = sugar which =Belly growth! Pasta/rice/Bread/Potatoes are high carbs but better is wild rice and Proper rye bread not suddo stuff thats 99% wheat. you want Proteins and fats Decent fat like butter/Coconut oil/Cheese/yoghurt/Decent milk like Waitrose duchy blue top(Has real cream on top like when you was a boy)as Non homogenised which also means keep more nutrients as Homogenising treatment destroys the goodness.plus makes a top cup of tea/coffee!. Decent fats your body can burn it gives energy where as Marg/Veg oils stay round your belly line as body looks at it and thinks WTF is this?. One thing i make i call muck! is Porridge oats with sunflower.Sunflower.Chia.flax.Linseed.seeds.Coconut flakes.Crushed up nuts and ground almonds.Raisins.and other bits i find to add like those.have a big cereal tub tip gear in and tumble till mixed up. Have one of those litre plastic measuring jugs and chop 2 or more Kiwis up but can use other stuff like blueberry/raspberries etc or Frozen? then add some muck then add some Greek yoghurt (I get the Waitrose litre tub as thick with no other shite added!)then some milk so soaks into dry stuff mix it up a bit then leave for while soak seeds like chia are soaked! Then enjoy keeps you happy all day long. It's something you could make and take with you even. Fat well decent fat don't make you fat it's the carbs that do. The Human body is set up to burn fat as instant energy and without Saturate fats in your food you become vitamin deficient! as A.D.E vitamins are Fat soluble B and C are water soluble. And ADE stay in your body longer while B&C you need every day as you pee them out.
