I GOT SACKED FOR MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS

This week I got the big news. I am sacked and banned from site on this company It was because of my KZread truck vlog videos unfortunately. The real reason probably is that they think I scare people showing what this job sometimes can be.
I truly appreciate the suport and contributions from every channel member and supporter. I can honestly say that because of them this channel will not stop, and I will continue doing what I do here on my channel

I work for a major retailer in the UK in HGV routing. Your videos have been honest about the realities of driving an HGV. Given that 43% of an end-to-end logistics plan involves the road in terms of time, it's essential that we make it as easy and safe as possible for the drivers. All the little nuances of driving HGVs matter from the manoeuvers in the yards to the detail of the risk assessments to what keeps you sane during long trips. Due to geographical distances, some of the team have not been able to go out with our drivers. I've shared some of your videos with my team to help them understand a day in the life. Keep it up Raul!

It honestly blows my mind when things like this happen, a completely different world but British Airways recently stopped all their pilots from sharing photos from the flight deck, social media profiles were the first point of engagement with a company and it was all positive for BA but they put a stop to it. I think you show the very real side, from the good days to the bad days to the downright really annoying days. I was a trucker for a few years and I'm looking to maybe get back into it in the near future and I don't see anything wrong with what you've shown, never have you been unprofessional or disrespectful so I call bs on their pathetic excuse. Raul, I stumbled on your videos a few weeks back and I have been hooked. You're a well-spoken, straight up guy and you genuinely show it how it is. I'm an ex-trucker and did exactly as you do - full time agency, getting a whole assortment of jobs from the ass clenchers to the easy trunks. Watching you, gives me some great nostalgia. Nothing about what you do could be considered 'negative' to any haulier or client. Although understandably, some self-unsure people may not want you recording them - in case their up to something dodgy and you catch it on camera. But I bet 90% of all reputable hauliers would LOVE your positive publicity. Driving is a very fulfilling, yet challenging and impressive job. Vloggers like you give free advertising for the wider industry and the hauliers you work for - only the dodgy Karens will have any issues with you. Keep it up!

As a Truck Driver myself, I understand the problems and issues inside the industry. Your videos really do show the realities of the job. You'll land on your feet, plenty of jobs out there. However, if I was to hazard a guess on who complained, if you look in the last few videos, there is a clue as to why. And from the Health and Safety standpoint, they won't want that publicised too often, if at all. But that is a them problem, not a you problem.

I'm so sorry that company doesn't want you going there anymore, I think that's petty but unfortunately there's a lot of people out there like that! I'm no truck driver but I really enjoy watching your videos, there so real and honestly must take a lot of skill to do some of tight corners & reversing into the required spot. I have a lot of respect for truck drivers & always give them the room & time that they need 🙂

As you say, you show it how it really is. Much better for the industry that people go into the job with their eyes open then start and realise they don’t like it and leave after a month. Good luck with the future and hope you find and employer who lets you continue your blogs.

Sorry to hear that bud, that was a total shitty thing for them to do this. Stay positive, I'm pleased your agency is ok with what you do. Hopefully you get something soon. Your videos are incredibly interesting and so very well done and on a subject most of us know little of. Your presentation style is fantastic, realistic with a nice touch of humour. Looking forward to your next uploads!

Just watched a couple of your reversing video's today. I'm a new driver and I have a job interview /assessment tomorrow morning for a Class 1 C+E position and I'm very nervous about the reverse part. I have only had my licence for just under 9 months and not much experience in actual artic's although I have a C+E licence I've mainly driven class 2 rigid upto now. I've found your video's very refreshing m8 and I wish you all the luck in the future. I've been shown the door by a couple of company's in my short carrier so far so I know how it feels no matter the circumstance. I'm sure you'll bounce back and keep the video's coming!

If you really want an insight to the best jobs and for companies who do not take the piss, then this is your guy. Raul, I am a native Englander and a tramper and you have my utmost respect. New drivers pay attention to this, guy you need to adopt this attitude. Raul, you are a real professional hat is off to you. All the very best matey.

Cheers for standing up Raul and more power to you for not backing down. All industries can be cut-throat in how they handle employees but transport is by far one of the worst. Corner cutting, bending rules, passing blame, just all-round corruption is not just rife but blatant. This is the main reason why professional drivers remain a 'transient' workforce as the media calls us, sure some of us get bored or are looking for a bigger paycheck but in truth, most are fed up with the poor standards and are hunting for that unicorn job to settle down in.
