Luke , there are some really sad people out there who ' get off ' on making calls like that , the equivalent of keyboard warriors , their lives are pathetic and they think everyone else's life should be like theirs to make themselves feel better , irrespective of consequences. I once had a similar problem. Had to deliver a lorry full of wine to Tesco and the back of my truck stunk to high heaven of wine as there must have been a few broken bottles. A few hours later the transport manager phoned me and told me to stop immediately so I asked him why. He replied that he had a phone call telling him that I reek of alcohol to which I replied that the last time I had an alcoholic drink was 6 years earlier after the funeral of my sister in Germany. Yes, I said, German beer is stronger than the stuff they sell here in the pubs but not strong enough to make you pissed for 6 years. I eventually offered to go to the nearest police station to get breathalysed to which he agreed and also told me that I should bring something in writing from the police. Of course, the test was negative and the police sergeant was quite happy to confirm the test in writing.

I'll never forget the day I had my boss alongside me in a truck, when a car tried to put us in a ditch. Not long after his phone rang & he took a call from that motorist, saying I'd just cut him up & shouted/swore at him. He put the phone on speaker as he explained that he was sat alongside me & they were at fault for nearly taking us off the road, not the other way round. He added with a smile that it was they who did all the swearing too. Oh how we both laughed......

Posting online about it and acknowledging it just gets copycats also ringing the boss and trolling.

I wasn't fired but my contract wasn't renewed due too a stuff up costing thousands on a land project. Everyone blamed me and I never even worked on that project.

Try a mifi unit, portable wifi unit. A good idea is to use a different network so one can get more coverage. Also use your phone as a mobile hotspot, which is what I do for my sport website to update in the field. A tip to try and dry electrical items, is to put it in dry rice/

Hi Luke pretty sad world we are living in I had another driver in a firm I worked for pulled my trailer pin hoping I wouldn’t not check the next morning after changing trailers I did but lucky enough someone see him and it was caught on cctv he was sacked ! Great channel mate
