Local skater from queens. I swear at the park. When’s the vibes are high, the best skaters aren’t even the ones doing the coolest tricks. They’re the ones who take the hardest slams and keep skating afterwards and finishing what they started. #queens ❤

I learned to do it without wheels. Just stand on the board and pop up. It's physics. When you pop a wheelie, the back also wants to come up. You just have to be quick enough to allow it.

ur explanation of the flaws to pushing mongo almost all does´nt exist.... The ONLY thing beeing negative (could be NOT musste be) is bringing the front foot back in trick position... That´s the ONLY "real" problem with it... u´ve tried to look extra dumb pushing mongo... PLS gus/girls don´t trust his words here. Mongo makes it even easier to push over hard ground u can turn with ur board foot it is ALL about learning/adapting/mastering.... no matter if u push mongo or not!

I had a penny board for a week that I found on the side of the road, thank god I found it. The day I found it I tried to skate and it was actually quite fun and 4 days later I found myself at the skatepark ready to ride. I saw the first video of this series and tried them, sadly I could not do many because of how flimsy the board was. I placed an order for a Element complete and started riding better than ever. That was 1 year ago, I am now improving tons every day. Thank you man, I am now amazing and have a new hobby.

dayum dude. i alrdy do some really neat ollies but only while standing and not consistently at all. this video is a blessing. i will try some of this FOR SURE in my next sessions. didn't knew, that there are soooo many do-able tricks for me before the ollie perfection. i thought ollies aren't that difficult and the real challenge should be the kickflip. i thought, that i am just progressing way too slow. but if videos like these exist, i might be wrong :D. gives me hope that my ollies will be consistent and while rolling AND on, over or from obstacles

the reason i quit skateboarding after a little while is because i managed to get 4 mild to serious injuries within a few months, and that is WITH a few weeks recovery to heal. I don't know why but i am a magnet when it comes to hurting myself. A tiny pebble on the road will cause me to have to go to the hospital, i wish that was a joke but it actually happened multiple times. I just don't think it's for me.

Excellent video - in just 30 minutes you got me from never having even tried to ollie, to actually popping and landing back on the board time after time, and getting what I hope would be considered my first few ollies. Of course we're talking big rocket and then a pretty low level-off at about 10 inches off the ground - but this is Day 1 and anything's better than being landbound, right? 😅 So, thank you for the straight-to-the-point guidance, it really worked!

There's a super good skater at my local park who thinks backside is frontside till he's blue in the face. I've skated for 16 years and surf, so obviously you'd think he'd listen, but I'll be patient nonetheless lol.

At my workplace we found a skateboard in some bushes and a parent who was there with his kid, showed me an ollie, not a too good one. At first I was too scared to even do ot. But one day after (literally today) I watched some vids amd tried it again. i was pretty close actually.. And after now after work watching more videos I now understand what I might've done wrong. Also because of how "short" an ollie actually is. I do slide with the foot that's om the board way too late. Can't wait to practice with that work board tomorrow again. I plan on getting a cruiseboard rather than a slateboard myself tho. But I've seen people doing an ollie on those too.

Braille Skateboarding messed up beginners brains with his Ollie tutorial videos, dragging front foot up is not the big part of the ollie, it is just to get your ollie higher. the whole point of the ollie is popping the board off the ground with the right timing
