Mine's not that hard to start. Sounds about the same as mine when it does start, but I'm wondering if that's from a blown head gasket. These things are notorious for blowing head gaskets.

Great video. In your case you did not have to bleed or prime the Hydraulic pump after draining all the hyd oil. Just crack open or remove the allen bolt on your hydraulic pump as you turn the motor over without letting the motor start. You'll see lots of air bubbles coming out. .

Bro that’s NOT how you fix faded plastic all you did was scratch the ever living fck outta the plastic gotta use a heat gun or if you are handy with a torch use a torch at distance it’ll melt the plastic right back to original color and won’t fade or look at dull when dry 👀

I’ve had a 97 Timberwolf since I was a kid. I moved away and let it sit for a couple years. I recently just got a 03 bear tracker and I have been stealing parts off my Timberwolf. Eventually I’m going to try and have them both running. Love these things!

I've got a survivor 350 2WD from 1987. I bought it 18 months ago from the original owner. All I would need to do to make it look new is refreshing the plastic and repainting the cargo racks. It's good to see these being brought back.

You can use a heat gun or propane torch to heat the cover and bend it out and Amazon some vinyl fabric and cover the seat . You should get 2 seats to a yard. My ocd has to have the handle bars straight or it drives me nuts. But good job came out nice.

  • @averybryant

I did end up using a heat gun to reshape it a little and found the bottom bracket where the inner part bolts to the frame was bent a little, i bent that back and the rubbing is gone completely now

Hey bud I have the same tractor. Keep an eye on the engine oil. If it keeps going up your hydraulic pump blew seals and hydraulic oil is in the engine oil. Not a good thing and is probably the reason for the piston going out. I haven't figured out the problem yet and I'm on my second hydraulic pump since I bought mine a couple of years ago. So, at the moment I'm not going to run mine much until I get this hydraulic pump thing figured out. I'm thinking that there is too much pressure in the system someplace. But, I'm not a hydraulic expert. So, I keep watching videos and learn as much as I can.

Cool video. This was my set of wheels as a teenager in Northern Michigan (the part by Lake Superior not the part connected to Detroit). The engine sound brings back memories. What a great reliable sound that was. It always started in below freezing temperatures. If I remember correctly it would go about 55 miles an hour. Just a little bit faster than all the other Honda 250s ! The engine didn't sound too healthy at that speed though. Anyways cool video. I am watching from Thailand . 👍
