There are 2 other versions, a lyric video and a short live version for the Ubisoft crowd. Chance wrote a banger! Also the Bass Gang did a cover of this song. So much fun! 😍

This IMHO , may be the single most impressive live Female Vocal performance of All time. I would challenge Any current Female Artist to come up. Without Auto Tune and try this......... I'll wait

This was the best song throughout the 60s. 70s. 80s. and 90s and even today it is a great song. and then Emma Kok came along and blew it out of the water with Voila,,,

What's awesome about this performance is that this is not your average audience. These people are Motown legends and stars and they are standing, dancing, clapping and cheering for MJ. This is really his crowning moment, cementing himself as The forever legendary King of Pop

Only ONE word describes this song...Immortal! Every generation has what they consider "Their" music. And for the most part...every generation believes "Their" music is the best! Sadly...short of maybe a handful of songs...nothing recorded after 1980 will be remembered or stand any test of time.

When you saw him perform in concert like myself you are totally hypnotized by that voice. No audio tune, no dancers, no fireworks, no special lighting just one incredible talent all his own. Never before never again will we see a talent like Elvis.

If you really want to understand this music, you need to watch the movie Highlander (1986). Brian May was inspired to write "Who Wants to Live Forever" after watching the love scenes between Connor and his wife Heather, and the song ultimately accompanied the film.

----------------thank you for playing the original version of this song, and not the live version from before Elvis died, which are not that great. The only live version worth listening to is around 1971 and he did a hell of a job on it.

Definitely check out Pentatonix Sing Off version. They basically won the Sing Off in 2011 with their performance of Dog Days. It was the first real Mitch slap we ever heard. They were all about 19 at the time. Babytonix at their finest.

It's easy to get rid of the mike noise. You turn the mike off and use the overhead to record. That's why there's no accentuation and it sounds somewhat mundane. There's only so much you could do back then to enhance the recording. Much of the work was done on-site and with one or two takes. They didn't play around with it back then. You either had it, or they would hire someone who did.

I was 18 when I was lucky enough to see Pink Floyd in concert in 1994 , Div Bell Tour. Then in 99 I got to see an evening with Roger Waters. Then in 2006 Roger Waters N America tour . For all you young Floyd fans , when Roger does his last tour and he most certainly will , be sure to get a ticket ahead of time and do not miss it.

«The only voice in the pop/rock-field I wished I had, was the voice of Elvis Presley». Quote from world famous opera singer, Placido Domingo. In 1994, when the hysteria around «the three tenors» (Jose Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo), was at it’s peak, they were to appear in the LA olympics. The guys, all with an ego, was having an argument, and Pavarotti was heard saying, «who do you think you are, Elvis Presley..?». Elvis’ voice was a total miracle, taking on all genres, with ease, without ever having a lesson or vocal training.
