When this came out, I was heavy into guitar blues rock. I heard this song and had to get the album. I bought the CD (new at the time) and vinyl. (Vinyl way better) I still love the bass line.

Mark is still considered one of the best bass players in the modern era. Its a Jaycee Supernatural through Trace Elliot amps. Its his first ever bass and he still uses them today. They are a brilliant live band, no auto tuning or tapes used !

Intro to this song sounds like Jane Child - Don't Wanna Fall In Love (with lyrics), but it came before, so Jane prolly hacked it a bit.

You should put on subtitles on so you can sing along with the words :)

This and Lessons In Love are my favorites from Level 42. After partaking in the Robert Palmer School of vocal frying( two pack of smokes a day habit), Mark's vocal range doesn't shread my vocal chords as much.

The video audio is not good, the band is not good live.

Maggie, Renae, I love you, but so often you pick live recordings that are terrible and do not do the artist, the audience, or you any favors at all. First reactions are not necessarily as good as a studied reaction
