I would fix that right up and get everything going and sell it to a fire museum or to some fire truck collectors and make a decent profit from it.

It’s a shame that the previous owner held on to it until it got in this bad of shape. From the size of that rust spot above the rear wheel it looks like he could have sold it ten years ago. Well, better late than never I suppose 👌

What is going to become of that 1969 or 1970 Mustang in the background?? I have a thing for 1969-1970 Mustang coupe’s and that is what that one looks to be.

Ayyyy, she must have been a vinyl roof car. You normally never see rust thru in those areas. The good thing is that in this day and age you can literally buy the whole car in reproduction sheet metal. Don’t ever let any old car go to the crusher. As long as you have a good VIN plate then it is worth it.

Oil pan colision with crossmember can result after jumping a truck that has old soft engine mount rubbers. Happened to my 67 Valiant ute slant 6 225cu .in. Had me scratching my head for a while, only cost me a new pan gasket and some time to repair. Lesson learned, "Dip" signs are to be taken seriously.🇦🇺😉

To find leaks use masking tape it’s quite easy to follow the trail and see where the leak is starting.
