Love this build. I was an Explorer for the Ventura County Sheriff's Dept.1988-1990 and did my ride alongs in Diplomats. Besides the Crown Vic (which I happen to have one), the Diplomat is the coolest and most distinguished looking cop car IMO. Love your content and you are one of my sons and my favorite car KZreadr's. We're starting a shop and channel of our own soon. Our facility is 7K sq ft. and just happens to be the old factory location of TBM Brakes when they were in CA. Keep up the awesome work! You need to make sure you've got the fire ring in that wastegate. Seems like it's just letting all the boost out. No way that thing is only making 4 psi with no boost reference to the gate.

But Officer, i pulled over, so you could catch me! 😂😂😂😂 Just razing you! That thing did great. Considering, it was all untested, and hey... like you said, it was get a base starting point! Cant wait for the next episode of, "To Protect and Swerve"!

The nostalgia of Beech Bend lol. I was just there for LS Fest in September and recorded basically almost everything from the event. This weekend the suburban is getting the motor pulled and built. Transmission, suspension and everything else is built already so I saved the best for last. I'm hoping to meet you, Dalton, Kevin, Craig and etc at Hot Rod Power Tour and possibly do the cruise with y'all and I plan on returning back to LS Fest next year to do the autocross/road course or offroad racing (undecided yet). Keep up the great work man.

Oh man well, at least your getting it worked out now. good to see that it was just tuning issues which that's the way it goes. Josh and his family put together that gremlin and I really enjoyed it, Really really put in a lot of time, effort, and money into it and it shows. They completely deserve to win one! There's an exotic car place in Vegas where you can drive them on a track or you can ride with a drifter in a police exotic car and it has on the side of it, "To protect and swerve". Every time I see your police car on the road, I have flashbacks of the Dukes of Hazard. I know that's not the car they used but it's what I think of. 56 was 10 seconds slower than sleeperdude lol. That's the first time I've ever seen Ally, (Allie?) in your vids. Nice job, she's cute.

My uncle was going to sell me an 80s Dodge Diplomat 318 Lean Burn with really low mileage in mint condition for $1500 (before he passed away) and I'm still kicking myself for not jumping on it. I would've LOVED to have been able to do a cool turbo Magnum swapped daily.

It looked like Moparty didn't have a very big turnout, not a lot of people standing around watching the autocross and burnouts. I've been to LS Fest and it was packed with a loud crowd hootin and hollering big time. Maybe Chad Reynolds (sounded like him announcing) should have did a little more to pump them up.

The Diplomat looked and sounded great! Definitely a crowd pleaser. To improve your track time I suggest you see if you can take a cop car driving course to learn how to get the most from your car. I lived in the Bay area for a while and while I was working at a studio next to Giant's Stadium I watched local police trainees driving around the empty parking lot, learning the ins and outs of their old RWD Crown Vics that were equipped with outrigger casters. I'm not sure why they had them attached to the cars or what benefit they represented, but maybe a current or ex cop could explain it better than me.

If you do end up making more boost make sure you sort your timing out. Your stock 35 degrees overall is going to be way to much to work well with boost.(it'll blow up)

Yes that’s the biggest thing we covered on the tuning. I had it locked at 25 total at WOT, and that’s awful for only 4 psi. I have it dialing back 1.5 degrees per 1 psi now.

@@johnsnow1355 I’m running an MSD Dual Sync. All the timing is controlled through Holley’s Sniper EFI.
