ABANDONED Mustang Cobra Rescued After 27 Years - Will It Race on Nitrous?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

“Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." -Matthew 5:16"
It's time to put the Cobra II back in action! But this time we're hitting the track with some significant upgrades, including a full 9" Ford rear axle from Quick Performance and a nitrous kit from Holley! Think it'll survive? Stick around to the end to find out!

This car always makes me think of Charlies Angels....I think Farrah drove it.....white with Blue STripes.........SO maybe we should name this one Dylan's Devil!!!!!!!! Since red stripes!!!!!!??????? Yep found it: Farrah Fawcett drove a Mustang Cobra II on the TV show Charlie's Angels, 1976-1981 (yes we know she wasn't on the show for the whole run, calm down). The Cobra II package was a factory option that was installed by an aftermarket company, Motortown. Available colors included white with blue stripes, blue with white stripes, and black with gold stripes. The Cobra II package was only available for fastback models.

De-Bris, Suh Dude, the choir... Always something in the video that is just tickling the funny bone. Those Cobra II's are awesome. The only one that eclipses it is the King Cobra because of the extra "plastic fantastic" spoilerage it got going on... Loved how the italian tuneup got the clutch back in line! Looked like a great time at the event.

LOVE Mustang IIs!!! Had a notch back in pumpkin orange, oil leaking 3.8 with the big two barrel and free flowing chrome breather!🤣 Stick. Lived in Hamilton Ontario at the time I was learning standard. Had a BIG chrome trailer hitch on the back. Got stuck on one of the older roads going up the escarpment (about a 70 degree angle). Stalled , starting rolling back, saw a Beemer was directly on my ass. You NEVER saw an entire traffic jam slooooooowly move backwards like you did THAT day!!!🤣🤣🤣 No, didn’t hit him, caught the gears in time. And because it was such an ugly orange, never lost it ina parking lot at the mall OR in a snow storm!🤣🤣🤣✌️🤘🇨🇦

Also, I am 40 years old and who else remembers those cool older Rangers with the full factory body kit on them? They were called Ranger GTs. It had to have been mid 80s with the 2.9, but they always looked SO cool with their factory body kit. I saw them all the time in the mid to late 90s. I also had a chance to buy one of the original white late 1980s Escort GTs with the 1.9 and 5 speed manual with the factory body kits, but I didn't take it. I would've loved to have gotten it and turbocharged it to make a fun American hatchback.

I didn’t realize until I was older that they were just like any other late 70’s “performance” car; just stripes and body cladding and no performance whatsoever. Glad to see one getting some actual power under the hood! Keep on rockin’, Dylan!

My Stang came with a 351 Cleveland Ram Air Q code, also a competition suspension, 3.50 Track Lock rear and a Toploader 4 speed. The engine was rebuilt .040 over and a competition valve job, heat treated shot peened rods with ARP hardware, Keith Black pistons Total Seal rings etc! I put a Holley Sniper with a Sniper billet distributor and Sniper electronic ignition. Hopefully you read this...BAP (BUY AUTO PARTS) provided a 12.7 to 1 steering box (Saginaw series 800) Stock was a progressive 24 to 1! HUGE difference in responsiveness of the front end.

37:19...Is that an older Ranger smoothed on TE-37s? That is SICK! I'd love to see what's under the hood! Hopefully a Coyote! The 2.9 was junk and so was the 3.0 and 4.0. I had a 1994 Eddie Bauer Exploder lifted on Skyjacker body and suspension parts with 33x12.50s on it and the 4.0 had an Explorer Express Eaton M90 supercharger on it and it was still gutless. I swapped in a Fox body 302W and it was better, and I adapted the Eaton M90 to the 302, and that made a WORLD of difference.
