Congratulations, Derek. I was checking out your numbers, and your channel frequently surpassed NASCAR truck racing for the number of viewers. More people watch you than a multi-million dollar production.

VGG is now a bigger celebrity on KZread than the road kill gang- Way to go Derek!
David Freiburger, Derek Bieri, and Garret Mitchell are the trifecta of the GOAT’s of the internet.
That’s because a feller worked hard and he is much more relatable as we all struggled with our going to town rigs. Awesome to see a feller having fun
Derrick please. Please always have your fire suit on during any burn out. Especially since Charlotte is pretty much wide open and no body to sheikd you. Things can go bad real quickly when u least expect it. Just want u to be safe bud.
That pacer is nuts. What a machine. He just parks that thing at 7000 and lets it eat.

Totally agree! Now I gotta have one. Funny, wasn't the Gremlin the more popular ofthose two amc hatchbacks? I like the Pacer better, that rounded tail end is slick! I always was a weirdo, I never cared what anybody else thought.😉👍👊
Derek is a very lucky man. He gets to do what he loves and have it provide a great life for his family.
I love that Derik talks to the drivers and get to find out what’s in the car

From building a Chevelle in his plain garage to being the MC at a burnout competition and being in commercials for o'reilly. Air high fives Derek! Also, the entire exhaust system on that truck was cherry red at the end. Gave me goosebumps 😜
I always knew Derek was a showman with his own distinctive style. I was not prepared for the kind of showman he has really become! He had the crowd when he stepped out of Charlotte and dejectedly said "....digicals...." But then he emceed the burn out competition with ease, like he has been doing this all his life. This was a great show!

I disagree! The exposure from the MT series is great (and the extra income too, I presume), but those rescue episodes are so heavily edited that there's no sense of the time and effort they required -- and the physical and mental toll on Derek and friends is plain to see. I really don't like that series. His self-produced KZread work is FAR better in my opinion.
Hey Derek..been watching your channel since the beginning and thrilled for you and your family that it's a successful as it is. You deserve it and keep it up. TV show is pretty awesome too by the way!

That doorless Charger just has that little bit of something special that make it more than the sum of its parts. It’s special. It looks like it was created by a professional Hollywood effects crew for a dystopian Mad Max’esque yarn.
Been watching VGG for a few years now and that burnout running down the wall waving your hand to pump up the crowd gave me goosebumps. Hands down the coolest burnout. What great energy you bring to this industry. You’ve become a staple in households all over the country and I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for more. Fantastic job.
Whats interesting here is that VGG is now delivering the cabibre of content Hot Rod/Motor Trend did before they put it behind a paywall. Obviously, there is a demand for this on YT! Between this, DD Speed Shop, Stay Tuned -- is anyone paying MT anymore?

Great episode, Derek. That UFO Pinto was badass, but you really stole the show with that late burnout! Your headers were bright orange as you were exiting the burnout box. Great run.

One of the best I have seen in a long time for a show. The fun and the laughs never stopped!😊
Duct Tape Drags? 😆 What Could Go Wrong? Sounds Safe to me! 🤔 😂
That last burnout was more than enough to win the competition!!! Awesome!!!
Good to see a couple other youtubers in the background, Low Buck Garage and No Nonsense Know How, in the video.
Way to make a fellers day Awsome job on the production quality sir your channel Is really on par or better known then the show trucks
Love to see the video. Over here in Sweden it is 2:12 am but I am enjoying see Vicegrip garage in the middle of the night ❤ Derek, you as a speaker on the event makes it the greatest
I'm not gonna lie if a fellar lived closer to me I'd have to offer to paint Charlotte up with a spiffy patriotic theme or something. She needs some show with the go. Tons of fun to watch! Keep it up Derek.
On the MIC....what next...wedding dances...I swear this guy does it all! What a guy...thanks a ton Bieri family!
Awesome content, Derik. Thanks for helping keep racing traditions alive
Its finally time to kick the feet up and wet the ol back neck and enjoy another great VGG video living life a quarter mile at a time 😂
Another great video Derek, what a blast and I agree with some of the followers that the Pacer was a tire fryer, see ya next week 👍👍
The late Nights Charlotte was worth it all !! You the Man !
Would have loved to see Holy Goat do the burn out box. Huge weight savings
Yes! Couldn’t wait, my good man. Bring the Friday Thunder!
I LOL'd when Derek said "This truck might be engine swapped but I'm not certain..." HAhahaha it hit me in the funny bone.
I love that Pacer. That's what I respect, a guy who takes something that isn't a race car and turns it into one.
Glowing headers at the end were worth the wait! Badass run... Such a cool thing to look back at how far Derek has come, making grainy videos out of his garage to co-hosting with Freiburger! Carry on sir!

Great video. The ugly Nova was my fave. I've always wondered how do these folks in a burnout competition ever see anything / keep from getting dizzy/sick?
The ol’ Galaxie was performing the infamous One-wheel-peel, and that Pacer was insane!
It was so fun being there and seeing you and all the other celebrities.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yeees 😄😄👊
A guy can't even keep track of how much you have going on... love ya VGG.
Dont get burn-outs... just dont... somebody explain them to me !!
Call me a stick in the mud but I just don't get the burn out pit thing. So you make a car that can burn the tires off (not that hard) and then take it out there and spin donuts around with it. How much talent does it take to do that? Drag racing is great, takes driving skill and mechanical skill to build a car that will go fast in the 1/4 mile. If you could strap a monkey in the seat of a burn out car and show him where the go fast pedal is, I'm sure he would figure out the rest. Just not my cup of tea.
@mkeolver
8 ай бұрын
To be fair burning out the tires while spinning around in a Dodge Viper while maintaining control and not smacking up against a wall does sound like it would take some skill.
Notice that Charlotte didn't need glow lights to glow(not that they're no cool)...... Hot little air pump....
Looks like some amazing fun. Just proves the point again, that you don't need the most expensive buggy out there to have a blast!
Burn outs have not been good for true car culture.
go back to fixen cars
Freakin awesome Derek!!! Charlotte did wicked burnouts and so did the others. Thanks for making a fellars Friday's!!!
33:47 glowing red headers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought that Pit Boss Pacer would have taken the burnout contest. That car put out more smoke than the Canadian Wildfires!!
