Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching." -Hebrews 10:24-25
Car Show: e/5V7dTfSGE
It's FINALLY time for building the turbo police car! This 1986 Dodge Diplomat has been sitting for quite so time, but that won't stop us from having a ton of fun with making some power! Think it'll hold together?

I have to admit, the oil geyser had me dying. Been there, done that hahaha
My father was a cab driver in the 70's and they used to use old police cars as taxis and I remember this body style well, he loved it! Great job Dylan, keep up the good work, god bless and have a great day!
I grew up in a Diplomat and would love to find one like this or a Fifth Avenue! Well done sir!

The Chrysler Lebaron 2-door coupes were pretty cool looking cars also.
Wow it sounded so much more like a true hot rod after that new distributor. Can’t wait to see it perform
That thing is going to be a BEAST! Show the LS's who's the boss! Just got my Roadstoration sticker on, might be one of the first in Canada with it :)
Just discovered this build today. Binge watched it all. Pretty good stuff man! I like the way you present and narrate, family friendly as well, had my boy watching. But this is the perfect project. Love the old rig with the modern efi&forced induction! Keep at it. Subscribed!
Love those Gran Fury/Dodge Diplomat bodies as I worked on them in the '80s! Most of the local police cars that we serviced were 318's. 4 barrels with 727 trans. Not a ball of fire with low compression.
Hey Dylan, I just wanna say is that I think your the Jedi master of fixing cars. I’m so glad that your a dad now. I think your son will help you fix cars with you when he’s grown up. Also I want to apologize for what I said last year. It was just super unprofessional of me. I was like that bc of climate change. Everything about it is being destroyed & upsetting. But I’m a change man now. You know I’m also a big buddy with my next door neighbors at our lake cottage. For 3 years now! Piper is 5, & Mayva is 4. When I first met them they were 1 & 3. So yeah that’s all I wanted to tell you.
Dylan, I just wanted to inform you that the transmission you installed is a TF904 originally designed for the cylinder slant six later behind the 2bbl. 318. The most common failure of the 304 is third and reverse which share the front clutch assembly. You may want consider installing a shift kit in the 304 or installing a 727 transmission. Great job!!!
Nothing I like better than building something that nobody else isn't!
Love how you break it all down and make it sound like I could possibly do a project in my garage

I like how he ran into issues. Not that it was good he did but it's a good lesson for the viewers to expect things to go wrong despite good planning.
welcome back, and congrats on your newborn. welcome to parenthood 😉
My uncle had a 77 Monaco that was a former police car. It had the 440 in it and one night he took full advantage if that when ran from the cops. I don't know what the police at the time were packing, but he won that day. They probably lacked SCMODS.

Nice I get it have a good day
Nice job on getting it running again and running smoothly too. Keep up the great work.
I couldn’t be happier for you, Dylan! This is by far my favorite of your projects, especially since I used to own an ‘88 ex-TN Highway Patrol Diplomat. I would’ve loved to build a sleeper setup like yours! Cheers!
You are cracking me up young man. I watch you and the things you do or don’t do because you get excited before you have everything checked out and it reminds me of the days when I was about your age and making similar mistakes. Good luck.
Reminds me of a buddy who took an old Dodge police car and converted into a "commuter special". Some type of V-8 (police special??). Interior gutted, big push bumper in the front and most important.. ice cold AC. It looked, drove and sounded the part. No one was going to challenge him in a road rage incident with that big bumper, solid steel frame and beat up exterior. Perfect for rush hour traffic.
WOW THAT CAR IS SO CLEAN UNDERNEATH!!! I would have thought SURELY the underside would be Swiss cheese and yet its smooth, clean and solid!
I’ve been missing this car, always happy when you upload. God bless you.
That old ignition system was probably giving that sniper a headache real bad. You have to wrap wiring with tesla shield near the ignition related components its so sensitive.
I've been waiting for an update on this car👍👍 Loving the progress!!!😃😃😃
Those Dodge Diplomats were great cars. I drove several ex-police cars that transitioned into security patrol service. They were very reliable and solid cars despite a lot of abuse!
Fantastic work!! I appreciate you keeping it interesting and genuine.
Sounds and looks great! I love this project car. Great work Dylan 👍
Man this is an awesome build I can't wait to see the next episode thanks for the great content!!
There’s just something about retired police cars both old and new(ish) that makes them way cooler than a standard version. It’s like a friend getting out of work to go have fun.
Great vids been watching your channel for a long time!
I’m anxious for the follow up video of this!!! Good job!
Great choice on vehicles. Lovin the old police cars. She's going into hot pursuit mode real quick. That's a 10-4!
Great job Dylan!! Really enjoyed this build.
So cool man you can take this thing to countless events and make some good skits with this car
Very cool, Mr. McCool. Can't wait for the next video on this.
I had a ex police diplomat back in the 80's. It had a 4barrel 318 and was super heavy duty. I sent a letter to Detroit with the vin# and they sent me a huge thick pile of specs and part numbers. It had weird stuff like extra thick seat springs and heavy duty door hinges for fleet use. Even extra thick ground straps for radios. Ran pretty good too, although the trans was a weak point as in most Dodges.
Amazing stuff you do!
Been hanging for this one ❤
Great content Dylan! I really enjoyed this.
I love the sound of this car, really sounds mean. Your dog is beautiful, too. Reminds me of our dog who died recently. Keep up the awesome work man. God bless and hope your family is all well.
Great video can't wait for pt. 2
Sweet episode! Don't be skipping church now, especially with that verse in the description!
Finally the turbo is happening, I almost thought you'd given up on the idea 😂.
Coming together, great job.👌
You're a lucky man. The Mrs. comes out, turns the key a couple of times, and the car comes around. Maybe hand her the tools?😁 P. S. I see by other comments you're a Dad now? CONGRATULATIONS! That's all kinds of fantastic!
The Duke boys are gonna have trouble running now
Glad you’re back! Welcome to the parent club😋
The dual sync distributor cleared up a lot runs much better looking forward to seeing the second half of this Dylan.
Can’t wait to see what that 318 is about I have a 5.2 318 in my 97 dodge Ram an I love it definitely wanted to play around with it but it’s a solid work truck only mod I did was exhaust an two inch lift is good enough for me lol much love on your build buddy don’t forget to send it one time for the mopar guys 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Thanks for giving these cars and trucks a well-deserved 2nd life. Keep up the good work, love the videos.
Subscribed! Amazing channel
I missed seeing this car , its 1 of my favorites honestly !
I has almost forgotten about the Cop car. I like where this is going 👌🏻🤘🏻
I appreciate the scripture you left. Very encouraging. Sweet ride man!
Great video! Didn’t know there are all those parts that work for old Mopars, thanks for the info!
I love the idea of bolting a "space age" system on top of an ancient iron block. the designers NEVER would've imagined people doing this.
This vídeos make me happy ❤
Word of the day "theoretically" hahahahah thanks for sharing your adventures Dylan!! Credit to the good luck charm the key turner extraordinare Mrs McCool!!
Can't wait to see it go down the road i bet it's going to really run awesome
I’m enjoying this bud !
Ahhhh last of the V8 interceptors! if you get the quote, kudos.
BEAST Nice job
I like your sump setup. I EFI'd my Fifth Avenue and wanted to go with an internal pump. Ended up having a gas tank make from aluminum to do it. Factory tank didn't leave enough room for 3" duals out the back.
Ahhh maan, I had a 1987 Plymouth Gran Fury, ex-FBI car. Bought it with 41.000 miles on it and it was CLEAN! So great to see somebody put in an effort. Thank you.
Great 👍 content guys. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Cute cameo by Dixie!...atta girl!!...very interesting and informative video, kudos!!!
This is a treat for us mopar guys. 😁
WoOW, amazing sound :O
That exhaust rumble is beastly 😮 love it 4:02 @Dylan McCool
I'm a Chevy guy but I've always liked the Dodge Diplomat and you're doing it right. you're awesome man! I'm definitely a subscriber now!
Cool video 💪🏾
Well I just found your channel . I guess you know that original engine had 360 heads and intake on it if it was a four barrel police package car . I bought and sold a lot of those police pack cars . I always wanted to put a 360 four barrel police pack engine in a Diplomat or Gran Fury . I have a 88 fleet package Plymouth Gran Fury with a 318 -2 barrel roller lifter engine and I've got a 79 Chrysler Newport ex Texas DPS police pack car with a 360 that I need to pull out and put in my Plymouth someday .
Excellent video Dylan :) , Elia :) also yes very good sounds at 800 RPM also not screaming for sure Lol like higher RPM was when start at and looking forward more videos too this car for sure watch ! Going running super 👌after get up fix up too and like 👍 see burn rubber Lol!
Can’t wait for the next episode
Hot damn! Great job👍

7:40 Love this idea! But I don't know about that much pressure. But what do I know about those cars. Nothing! Lol. 😂❤🎉😊
Been waiting for this car to reappear!
Should be fun once you get it figured out
🇦🇺coming along great Nice to see your wife involved
The Dip was my first agency-issued cruiser. Certainly wouldn't mind rocking one around town now.
26:12 In the past, I’ve literally just taken my crimper, my wire crimper the one for uninsulated cramps, and went around the whole pipe and crimped a Pump if you will in the pipe, which was good enough for boost piping
Good to see your wife enjoy your videos. Keep it up. Thank you.
♫ IN THE HEAAAAT OF THE NIIIIGHHHT ♫
My second job was when I was 15 yrs old at a Chrysler Dealership, in 1986 we had 2 of these Dodges police cars brought in for PDI, bare bone cars but lots of fun on highway to Paris for licensing.I think one had a 360 fun when gas was free
Great stuff thanks
I did dual batteries to the rear, ran 0G through the interior. Clean and no worries about it under the car.
It's almost there! Woohoo!!!!!
Always nice to see your wife Ally come out and Help with the projects 42:30 @Dylan McCool

Great job! I was really getting antsy for some progress on this car and was about to email you and ask if you gave up on it. I have several of these and Volares and I work on them for relaxation. Keep up the good work!
Late seeing this one but I think the Mrs. needs to be in the shop more often, she can fix anything 😂
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎
When you don't have a bead roller for Turbo Tubing. An old mountain bike handlebar grip trick, is to spray it with hair spray and slip it on. Once you put on your clamps, it will not slip. You can use Dawn dishwash liquid, just takes longer to dry.
Nice job dylan
Thermo Quad on top was a great touch!
Great job done on the Police car👌🌹🙏
Should take this to Rocky Mountain Race Week..
looks awesome
Hey Dylan thank you for the video 👍
I would so love to have that, it would just feel so good driving it,instead of being in front of it Lol!🤗Thanks great video!
awesome sounding exhaust
