Why Yoga? Why Now?

Why Yoga Hasn't Changed the World...Yet
Yoga has been around for ages, but has it really changed the world? If you're thinking about the yoga you see in your local gym, that's just the tip of the iceberg. It's a great exercise, sure, but it barely scratches the surface of what yoga originally set out to achieve.
The ancient practice of yoga was a groundbreaking science in its time, deeply intertwined with profound philosophical insights and techniques that are almost surreal when you consider the era it came from. Today's mainstream yoga, focused primarily on movement and stretching, overlooks these dimensions.
So, why hasn't yoga changed the world? Simply put, the depth and breadth of traditional yoga’s science haven’t been fully embraced or understood yet in our modern context. But imagine the possibilities if they were. By reintegrating the comprehensive wisdom of ancient yoga into today’s practices, we could see a transformation not just in individuals, but globally.
This isn’t about going back in time; it’s about bringing forward a legacy of knowledge that has the potential to inspire profound change. If we get this right, then perhaps, yoga will change the world after all.
