Today I've been struggling with my Fibromyalgia. Last night we went to see an awesome Agatha Christie play, The Hollow. I was slightly squished in my seat, seats in this theater are not made, for people with long legs like mine. So today my body is making me pay for it. About half way through the practice, I just broke down crying, this keeps happening to me lately. Especially when I'm having a day where I'm really struggling with my pain. I just sat on my mat, I'm not sure for how long, just crying. After a good long cry I came back to the practice, I felt so much better. And now by the end, I'm feeling much more myself, Thank you so much Adriene, for always being there to catch me, especially on really bad days. See you tomorrow, Namaste. 🙏 🧡

@@BruceWayne-lx5gxI'm at 5 years myself, with less than 40 days missed. I tried other yoga teachers and some I like but Adriene is the best. Her approach of yoga has helped me heal what many thought could not be healed. I will carry on with the knowledge she has passed for my entire life. Add to that my body is much stronger and leaner than ever before even when I would do 200+ push ups a week and all that kind of things, much more attractive.

Greet day 15🎉 thank you, Adriene, I loved this practice. I never thought I'd say that about an ab workout🤣, but Adriene you make it fun, doable, and give variations for every yoga level. You also somehow know when we need that bit of encouragement to keep going or hold for a few more seconds and to welcome the heat, which today was welcomed as its starting to get colder in NZ. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

Not gonna lie, I came in to this one tired today and had to pause and take a break half way through! I’m so glad it’s on the April playlist as I wouldn’t have chosen this one, but I feel good and strong for having done it. There’s no shame in breaks, people! Take them if you need them, and feel good for it❤

Hi Adrienne. I have been doing your videos for a few years now through the birth of my last two children. I am so grateful for your gentle loving and kind practice that has led me back to strength in my body and mind. After the birth of my third child I didn’t think I would get my core back ever. But three years later, I’m finally seeing some progress. Love to you.

Hi, I also had a child and 3 years later still have a very weak core and diastasis. did you do specific Adriene videos and did they feel safe? I would be really grateful for your suggestions for how to build any strength at all (aka: what videos or exercises did you do specifically?) because I feel I never fully found my balance again. Thank you!

Build, April 2, 2024. Had a moment of wincing noticing ab work and the time, but just as quickly let go of doubtful thoughts that weren't serving and jumped in with a positive outlook. Sure enough, the practice wasn't the impossible mountain my mind concocted. Though the fear and doubt has reason for it based on not so fun experiences, yoga and otherwise, in the past. But also no reason for fear/doubt just for the fact that I am not being judged, critiqued or shamed in a public setting. Much gratitude for YWA and the community. Continuing the never ending work in progress that is me, and enjoying my yoga journey into Build. 💙 Greet, May 15, 2024. What a difference a few weeks make. I knew the abs heat was coming. I embraced it and kept it going. Wasn't as difficult or as scary as anticipated and easier compared to last time. Strength continues to build. Woo! Namaste 💙

There are so many seemingly small things that you have said over the years that have really impacted my life and my fitness journey. One is to draw a line with your nose when doing neck circles, another is when practicing bicycles reach your shoulder toward you knee not your elbow. The things that have impacted my daily life are: move like you love yourself and don’t cash into your bones ( that one I am constantly hearing you in my head.). Thank you for all that you do.

Got your email Adriene, Thank You ! So I thought I would try this practice to see if I could do it, I was hesitant at first because the first word I thought of was pain, but know I need to work on center to build a strong core at 54 yrs and four kids later, It isn't easy after having four children but I surprised my self and could do almost the whole practice, except lifting both legs off the ground and straightening them in front of you. It was challenging my whole body, brain and spirit. It is going to be my practice for the week. Have a beautiful day!! Janet from Australia

I did the planks and the hip twists to the earth and loved it! Thank you! I was so pleased when I saw this new practice come up. Adriene's core work practices are the only ones I can ever face doing (me and my core have a complicated relationship ;). I enjoyed this one (even if I am about to skip happily back to "Pranayama Potion" tomorrow).

Core work is usually my LEAST favorite, but today it helped me feel strong. Thanks for encouraging me to do something good for me!

Hey, I sense synchronicity😊 I just discovered the transversus abdomininis, the “corset” muscle. I’ve been working that baby lately. I felt it working in this practice with you too! I love the side to side forearm planks, and will be adding to my practice. Thanks Adriene, for this! Peace and continued blessing to you, and yours.❤

Oh I hate abs day but I know it’s important. Tried to focus on what I can do, and of course the breath. Thanks, Adriene!

Love your teaching. You explain everything so well and give us time to get into the poses and to work through them. Simply the best.

I've bein watching you for about 6 months now and thought I should introduce myself like a neighbor. I do your Yoga almost daily after doing Tai Chi for 30 years and teaching for about 20. I enjoy the breath work you add to the moves and light hearted nature. So keep the flow and I love thy neighbor.💙

This is my first time ever focusing on my core center in yoga. I usually avoid this kind of practice because I have scoliosis and hernias in my abdominal wall so it was always a bit difficult for me to do it. This time I decided to try it and although it was very challenging, I'm glad I did it. I had to stop every 5 minutes for a break, I had to think of other things while doing it because then I thought I should give up, but I didn't and I finished the video. I may have took longer than the 27min video, but I didn't give up and I was stronger than I thought I could be. Thank you Adriene for showing me my limits and that really the biggest limit it's in our minds.
