Ouzo was a bad choice

I never stopped using the weapon, despite the big nerfs to range it got, coz Zephyr with her augment just doesn't care about guns having short range. Just one of many reasons Zephyr is very underrated imo ^_^

Fun fact: Secondary Deadhead would bring back the headshot multiplier on this weapon, as it does with Arca Plasmor and the like. Just make sure to actually get headshot kills to stack the arcane so you'll get both the stacked multiplier and the headshot multiplier. They have a 1x damage on headshots, but they still have to be able to trigger them so the Pax arcane works, and that is still abusable.

The Hemorrhage mod made the weapon relevant again so its been good again for a few years now :)

From what I remember, the Catchmoon range nerf roughly coincided with the addition of gun exilus slots, so all we had to do was slot a projectile speed mod.

You don't need to be in perma-ADS for Galvanised Crosshairs to stay proced btw. You just need to be in ADS while activating the proc, and then the buff still applies without ADS. Galvanized Crosshairs/Scope really rewards consistent headshot kills which is why is why I love it so much.

I will forever refer to this as the Catchamoon

change merciless for cascadia flare. You don't have to -kill- something to get damage boosts, just hit them, this turns the gun from having a need in actual gameplay to kill things to reach its full potential to just needing to fire the gun -at- something.

I'm 1000 miles away of these setups and steel path, but Catchmoon already feels fun on MR 6. Will def keep it for late game.

I remember how powerful it was before DE nerfed and reworked it. I still use it since it can still hit hard though. The primary version of the Catchmoon is straight up garbage though.

Catchmoon felt like an innovation back then. It felt stronger than the rest. But now there are a lot of options that are also strong.

TBH i i forgot kitguns exiting. sinmce Kuva Nukor was my way to go. i like mention aksomati, euphone, spira. amd Pyrama m,y fav. use secondaries. So , I defitly, should may try out catchmon. Sadly I am so busy faming gear. "as useall". i am the 49 % ppl donst use it. for playing. ^^

i remember grinding this for so long and then after 2 weeks it got nerfed 😢

Still a fun weapon but I was always more of a tomb finger fan and above that a MIGHTY SEER fan

Also an option is using incarnon lex prime, its basically just stronger catchmoon though a little slower firerate.

Kitguns has their own Arcane slot exclusively for Kitgun Arcanes in addition to Secondary Weapon Arcane slot

I disagree. I think everything in a shooter is relative. And we now have more powerful enemies due to the Steel Path and Overguard. And we have more powerful weapons - the Incarnon weapons (and the Kuva and Tenet weapons too for that matter). So the Catchmoon used to be relatively quite powerful, but now it is relatively a bit weak. Plus at this point Incarnon Lex Prime is more or less 'just a better Catchmoon'. Also the old meta parts for secondary kitguns were Haymaker and Splat, though now in my opinion you want some status chance to proc viral, to pair well with Hemorrhage. Furthermore, in my opinion at least, the secondary Catchmoon is currently outclassed by the secondary Sporelacer, so I would suggest that Catchmoon is not even the best kitgun currently. (P.S. None of the above, to me, means that people shouldn't try the Catchmoon and have fun with it - my point is just that I disagree with the characterization of the Catchmoon being better than it was back when it was meta)

Until pax bolt is usable, there is no point for me to get secondary kitgun, that thing must be ither 4s (and buffed ) OR 1 cast , NOT both as it is now ... unusable

Call me crazy, But I use the Catchmoon primary more than the secondary.

never built, never used. Nukor before it was Kuva, never stopped using shuriken, #BrakkaDakkaBois4Lyfe.

Useing Killstream over Spat is just dumb. All you gain is a .04 second faster reload time for 4 less shots in the mag. Deffinatly not worth it at all. Splat always. unless u go status
