Very interesting. I had a Martin 7 and 10 and they fit my Martin trumpets really well. They produced a sweet sound but they didn't suit me quite well so I sold them again. I see you have some Al Cass pieces as well. I'd be quite curious about seeing them in a video.

Yes, I plan to talk about the Cass piece for sure. I just need to track down my original documents. Thanks for checking out the video.

Certain modern mouthpieces don’t suit my Committee as well as I’d like. Which Martin/vintage mouthpieces do you recommend?& which modern mouthpieces can suit my old horn

You might want to look into a Schilke mpc if you are thinking modern. Not sure what size you are using currently. Vintage I find Al Cass (expensive), early Bach NY (be careful as early ones have various shank sizes) and the original (Martin) line work pretty well. It's really down to the mpc receiver in most cases. Feel free to email me via www.thebrasscellar.com and perhaps we can find you a fit. Rgds Shawn

Hi! I found you researching mouthpieces. It's a Martin 8. Can you tell me anything about that number?
