Horn Introductions: Martin Handcraft Standard US Forces Bb Trumpet
Episode 7.
Here's a now scarce instrument. These were manufacturer specifically for the US forces and in limited numbers - many were well used and examples in good condition are hard to find.
You'll find a little salute to Cap & Ms Carter in the sound samples too.
**In addition to this I name the officers of the Martin Band Instruments and some of the production staff from 1944 from an official document!!**

    I play a 1942 King Liberty (since around 1960).

    fantastic playing. I do have one look like this. but based on the serial number it dates back to 1931. Bell engraving Martin Imperial Handcraft on a nickel platted bell and has a first trigger.
