I have the kadet pro. Sharpened my first three knives on it yesterday. So far I really like it.

The Kadet Pro worked out perfect for my personal knives. I keep it in a small 12 inch long tool bag along with the essentials. Remove the rod and rod guide, disassemble the rod into two pieces, leave the rod guide attached to the rod. NO OTHER DISASSEMBLY. I bought a coarse Atoma 6 x 1 inch diamond for faster reprofiling. Also added a Janda 6 micron resin bonded stone for mirror polish. All stones are 6 inches so I never need to adjust the set screw for stone length. I adjust for height only once for the Janda polishing stone. Always try to use stones of the same length and height to minimize all the required adjustments. The Kadet Pro fits nicely in the tool bag, along with the 6 inch stones in a soft roll case, tools and diamond lapping fluid in a pencil case, electronic angle gage, 30X lighted magnifier, small towel to wipe up any mess. It is a great portable setup. I bought twice as much stuff than I needed, so hope this helps. I love the Russian quality and attention to detail.

Thank you for the video. I have a few questions. Are there any mechanical differences between the k03 expert and the standard? Or do those only refer to packages? Are units from 2 or more years ago exactly the same as the newer one in terms of materials?

Thanks for asking! As for differences between K03 Expert and Standard 2021, there's a few: Expert has a wider angler range and Standard comes with a steel stand, but Expert doesn't. Yes, they made of the same materials, all of aluminum, except the latest one - K03 Pro Hunter, there's a linfting unit made of polyacetal. Hope, it helped.

@@TSPROFSharpening Thank you for the response. Is the expert compatible with the steel stand? I see you have the standard on sale right now. I’m puzzled at how the standard can be so much cheaper than the expert when it comes with the base and the difference does not seem so significant. Also, could you tell me the major differences between the K03 and K02? Thank you 🙏🏼

Is the K03 as good at sharpening smaller knives like pocket knives as the blitz or kadet?

Hello, I own a sharpening business and im looking for a sharpener to sharpen with on my instagram and tiktok. The kadet pro seems like an good Option but i want it to sharpen mostly higher end pocket knifes up to 15cm blade lenght, is there an option for thinner clamps to sharpen smaler knifes also ? Greetings

Hello! You can additionally get filet clamps for Kadet, they're are more thin and with reduced angle. Not sure if they''re available now 'cause that depends on where you are. Please check on that on our website. Thanks!

I have the old KO2 that came in the wood crate. I really need to upgrade to something easier to transport lol

Only 30mm blade width for the Blitz pro? - so it's not suitable for most chef knife?

We wanted to say it starts from 30 mm and up to 70-80 mm

europe is no longer delivered for universal scissor table accessories and stones , i tryed at kniv and tools it is no longer possible

We haven't yet come up with something for serrated blades.

I just wish I had a dull knife to sharpen now. No one tells you about that. Sadness.

l'europe n'est plus aprovisionée il ne faut plus acheter cet affuteur ,vous n'aurez plus les pierres de rechange ni la table universselle pour affuter les ciseaux ,j'ai essayé d'acheter la table a knivand tool et il leur est impossible de les livrer
