I have watched your videos for years, and love the content you have put out! Watching your how to vids has given me the inspiration to step into this realm of knifemaking and start creating! I have been on the fence about ways to sharpen my knives, and this looks like a very consistent and solid option! Thanks again for all you do!
Thank you so much for all that you do Jeremy I’m not really sure if you know how much your videos help and inspire so many people, myself included. All the stuff that TSPROF makes is top notch and that Kadet Pro is no exception it looks fantastic as someone who has never been able to get a real sharp edge with hand sharpening it calls to me lol. I sure hope that who ever is lucky enough to get it will at least use it. Thank you once again for all that you do and I wish everyone good luck and health in this new year 🎉
Your videos are a pleasure to watch. You've taught me many things over the past few years. My knife making began with you and has improved greatly as time goes by. Thank you so much.
This is super cool to hear about. I just made my first knife with my wife’s grandfather. He’s been doing it for years, but now I’ve got the bug and found your channel. This would be a very neat tool to have to sharpen work knives or even my wife’s kitchen knives! Thanks for the tutorial and explanation on the angles!
Stumbled onto this channel about 2 year or more ago and find myself enjoying every video. Love the videos about knives and not about them All the information is great. Best wishes to you and your family.
Love the reviews Jeremy. The upgraded gear system is a very good upgrade to an already amazing sharpener. I have the knock off work sharp version that works well enough but would love to have one of those. Thanks for the content. You are the reason I got into knife making. Keep it up!
That sharpener has always intrigued me and I have been wanting to buy one for a while. That new dial they have for setting the sharpening angle is so much better than the method on the older models and it may be time to actually get one now. Thanks for the review!
Your reviews are very informative and much appreciated. TSPROF are the most innovative fixed pivot sharpeners I’ve seen. Simple ideas like an adjustable knife carriage to change the sharpening angle is simple but outside the box. I love the upgrade to a gear driven knife carriage over the previous friction fit. I would love spending the next couple decades testing this sharpener. You just missed my birthday on 12/24 but I’d love one of these for a belated birthday present.
I have a lot of respect for tools like this. Fantastic design, no more features than absolutely required, built to buy once in a lifetime. There's really not a lot of tools that meet these requirements that are made these days and I'm always happy to see some! Also, cheers, Jeremy, love your content, and thanks for the giveaway!
Awesome explanation man. I really appreciate how how you take the time to be polite and explain everything. I love you keep my knives sharp and sharpen other peoples on the side. This would be sweet to own. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for explaining the straight edge thing. I’ve been wondering that for years!
Hey, thanks for showcasing the Pro version, been looking at it for a little while now. Have a good Christmas and holiday weekend!
Thank you for the awesome review as always!
Thanks for sharing the review. Your channel has helped get me started on knife making.
Great vid as always Jeremy, TSPROF makes some fantastic sharpeners for sure, and I don't blame you for having so many! I always hate setting my angle on my vertical-rod type sharpener, so this design is eye-candy. Looking forward to the next video! Cheers and Happy Holidays!
Thank you for explaining the edge angle/roof angle. I'm glad its simpler then what I was thinking. Been needing a new sharpening system and this looks great, other then the cost. Thanks for the videos.
I've had a ts prof sitting in my amazon wishlist for a while. Really like the build quality. Seeing the update on the pro is super cool!
I love all the knife making content and all the tools that go along with it. Looking forward to your videos next year.
Great video!! Thanks for clearing up the angle thing. I'd love to have one of these!! Looks like a great system!
Thanks much for taking the time to make this video. It was very smart the way you explained how the fixed pivot sharpener does not change the angle of the bevel. I feel that the Kadet pro is the TS Prof that I will be saving my pennies for.
Thanks for the demo and helpful explanations!
Thanks for the review! I need to get myself a good knife sharpener, and these would certainly be at the top of my list.
I have wanted one of these for a couple years. Absolutely love the design.
Always love the knife sharpener reviews and updates. As a fellow knifemaker, it's nice to know what's new with TSPROF.
My son bought me a cadet last Christmas. Awesome system. Really improved the edges on all the knives I make
Looks like some great improvements over an already great sharpening system. Love TSPROF.
Thanks for this review! Excellent explanation using the house roof and gutter example!
Looks like I came into the guided sharpener systems at the right time. Some of the improvements made recently have really upped the game on these things. Tsprof's are at the top of the pack with these. Nice to know that those diamond plates last as long as they do. It shows how well made they are. The Kadet Pro would be a nice one to have. Still hard to wrap ones head around the fact that the angle doesn't change enough to be an issue, but it obviously isn't a problem.
I've been fascinated by these Kadet series. I'd put it to good use on my homestead here in Oklahoma. Hope all is going well for you and the family and that your broilers worked during this last winter storm.
Thanks for this review! I've been saving up to purchase one in 2023!
I’ve heard that’s a legendary sharping system! Love seeing your shop come together!
Love your channel I’ve been looking for a new knife sharpening system your review was very helpful
I’ve been looking into those. They look to be built very well. Great video as always Jeremy! Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
Started watching a handful of years now. Always love the content and jealous of the new shop!
I've been following you in that knife sharpener since you got the first one. I do like the upgrade of the newest one you have in this video. They're just out of my price range it's nice you're getting them to review.
Really enjoying all your content, both shop updates and knife content. Good updates on this TSPROF too! I’ve wanted one for a long time
Awesome video! I especially appreciate the clear explanation /illustration of why sharpening angle does not change when sharpening at the ends of a knife. Keep up the good work!
I love the update. Been wanting one for a while.
Thanks for your review of the new TSPROF Pro, what a great little knife sharpening system that doesn't break the bank. Also your explanation using a fixed roof is a perfect example of how the fixed angle of the sharpening system doesn't change along either either the X or Y axis. In my previous life selling construction lasers I had to explain this to many contractors. I used the analogy of a LP record (vinyl) with the laser represented by the pin hole in the middle. In the TSPROF sharpening system, the pivot for the blade and the pivot for the stone are fixed in the Y axis, while the blade is fixed in the blade clamp perpendicular to the travel of the stone establishing the X axis. Very simple. Totally repeatable. I'd love to have one. Maybe Santa can help me out?
Thanks for the review!
This is exactly what i need to keep my kitchen knife sharp. great job with content.
It’s been great seeing the evolution that TS Prof has had over the years. You can tell they are never satisfied and continue to look for ways to improve their system without a drop in quality.
“Can’t even look straight at the blade or it will cut your eyeball in half”. Lmao too funny. Great little sharpening system. Hope that you and you family have a merry Christmas.
Your explanation of the TSPROF was exceptional. All skill levels of knife sharpeners could understand the proper use . Thanks for another educational video. Merry Christmas. Stay well
So want one of these things. The older version has been on my wishlist for a while now. Such great engineering!
Enjoy all your videos. I’ve been looking for a sharpener and it’s great to see a review on this one.
Thanks for the video!! That looks like a great product!
Love all the videos and reviews. Has given me motivation to create my own shop in my 3rd garage stall. Keep em coming!
Appreciate the explanation and the content you put out. Definitely helped me along my making journey.
Great overview on the sharpener. Thank you for the content!
I would absolutely love a guide like this. I have a similar (much cheaper) type of sharpener and I have been saying that somebody needs to invent an Incra Miter style indent system out of metal for maximum repeatable results. I Love this, thank you for bringing it to our attention! Really digging your channel!
I started knife making around same time as you , I always enjoy you videos thanks for the honest review . It's looks like a great. Sharpener thanks again.
This would certainly upgrade my sharpening game. Thanks for the info.
That looks like like a slick little sharpener. Thanks for the review
I need a TSPROF for sure. Thanks! The sharpie tip was a great idea.
I love your content and have learned so much about knife making. Thank you!
I’ve been watching your content for awhile now and really enjoy the work you do! Keep up the good work!
Hey! Thanks so much for posting this video. You definitely have kept me inspired watching all your videos over the last few years. Saying hello from Ontario!
Very nice review of the upgrades, these tools look just incredible for sharpening.
Great review and some nice tips. Thanks!
Thanks for another great video Jeremy. This sharpener is on my wish list to add to my tools. I love those things!
Hello, thanks a lot for your video and I ordered my Kadet Pro. Your advices are very useful and done with fun.
Wow. I've always loved how solidly these are built.I'm in the market for a sharpener so this would be very cool. Very generous, thanks!
People never fail to amaze me with how the can reassure my confidence in the future generations. Knife sharpening is a lost art people have gotten so comfortable just buying new rather than fixing the old. Glad to see a company create such High quality products to get people into the art.
I'm just getting into knife making and have been looking at getting a sharpener like this but was worried about the quality of them. Thank you for answering many of the questions I had. Merry Christmas.
Thaks for the great annalogy to explain the edge angle. This sharpener would be an immeasurable upgrade from the lansky I've been using up to now too.
New shop is looking great! Love your videos!
Thanks for yet another great video. Happy Holidays.
Thanks for the review :)
That thing is so cool, I love how consistent it is.

Great video and great explanation on cutting edge angles. Going to have to check one of these out
Awesome content as always Jeremy. There's always a tidbit in there that I use in my own knife making journey...great job!
Thanks for sharing all the amazing tips in your videos. I've learned so much from your grinding tips videos.
Great review, looking forward to getting one of these soon
Like the design of all the TSProf range, the kadet is a great concept for a compact sharpener. I like the improvements made on the Kadet Pro, definitely on my wish list now.

Marry Christmas. Love how the shops coming along. And that sharing system looks fantastic 👌
Camera clarity is great and audio is spot on! Would love to give one of these a go. Thanks for sharing! 👍
I've been looking at these but struggling with spending the money. I also didn't realize the newer version has the wheel for adjusting the angle.....that's awesome. Thanks for the great videos.
Would love to try one of these!! Thanks for the review!

Nice add-on for this sharpening system, need one of these 🙏, cheers

Thank you for clearing up the knife sharpening angle thing. I understood the analogy, and I also like the knives.
Great explanation on the angle. Love the new shop.
Thanks for the opportunity! Got a sharpener on my wish list to Santa but figured I’d have more luck here. Great video and explanation about the bevel angle.
Reall like how this one looks. Love that they are in Michigan, my home state! Another great tool video Jeremy. Happy Holidays
