I had mine 3 days and love it. Razor sharp knives are easily obtained without much effort. Thanks for such a simple, well designed, well thought out knife sharpener.

Just bought a Kadet Expert on Amazon today. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Amazing system! K03 is a bit too big for house use but Kadet is just perfect. Covers all my knife pool of 50+ blades. Also, the diamond plates are great value for the money. Added a set of Boride stones and that covers all my steels.

You should include a spring for the backside of the movement limiter. Other than that no complaints. I put one on after a day and I think it’s best this way.

Feedback to TSProf. I was looking for a sharpner and decided to try the Tsprof Kadet because it looked like a good option to me. I ordered on 4/8 from Russia for a US delivery as it was the only i option at the time. No communication for over a week other than a confirmation that payment was received even though the website stated April shipping. I reached out three times on chat and a couple of times on Email ( no response to the email). On Chat I communicated with both agents. Chat was on mid April, end of April and 5/14. Each time was told of some issue and a promiss for an end of April / Early May/ still waiting on a 4 mm part on 5/14. When I asked to cancel the order, was told that a shipment to the US just arrived and can be shipped from the US next week. I decided to cancel instead because the experience left me thinking that if there were any issues with the unit, I'll be in a similar situation. Do you have parts or not? You have units shipping to the US but not to preorder purchasers? Another person on a fb group complained a few days ago ordered a month later than me and received shipping information three days later after he posted. How is that a good practice to ship to someone who ordered in May before you ship to someone that ordered and paid in April. The product looks great. But this is not a good way to build reputation. I was looking forward to it.

When you set the angle cube on the reference plane, then you should get the wrong angle I think. Because the angle is different from the angle if you set it directly on the metal stick (not on the reference plane). Or am I wrong?

The method of setting the angle with the angle cube shown on the video is the correct one.

I'm still waiting for my order to be processed/shipped or at least for my questions to be answered.

Hey bush prowler are you in america? I had the same issue. So what had happened was I preordered back on March 25, 2021. And was told that they would start shipping on April 15th. Well when gritomatic got their product in even after I had ordered I was feeling some type of way because from what I understood since I ordered directly from them that my order would be sent out before theirs. I had reached out to tsprof through an email I had received about getting 10% off my order if participated in a survey. Well I emailed them back and said I had already ordered and was concerned because they should have known that. Marina told me that there was nothing to worry about everything was in order and would start shipping April 15th. April 15th rolled around. And then a week went by, then two weeks rolled by and still hadn't heard from them about my tracking number or expected ship date. So I went to their site and called making sure I called during their business hours (time zones) no answer so I emailed them at sales, still no response. I followed up again with another email. No response. So waited a couple more weeks when finally, my patience wore thin. I got up early my time when they were about to close last week and sent them a message through their chat that they offer. No one was able to get right back to me. By this point I was worried I was scammed and did a dispute with paypal. And in the time I had done that marina had reached back out to me. So I followed the link in my email that led me to their website chat and let her know what was going on and that I was worried and started a dispute with paypal and would cancel the moment I got a tracking number. They were very understanding apparently they are having issues with their email and "logistics" but it was all fixed in like 10 min chat room. I just received mine yesterday. I am very happy with my order I knew there could be at least a month shipping but again with no communication I got worried. I would try to catch them like I did. I hope it works out for you bud.

Something that no one is explaining… Using the angle finder, when you put it on the ROD to zero it (with the stone), why isn't the thickness compensator set for that stone??? In this video, you put the stone on the rod, you place the angle finder on the rod and zero it. Then you place the angle finder on the sharpener and find the angle. But at no time did you set the thickness compensator. What if your next stone is thicker?????????????????

The thickness compensator isnt really necessary since you can readjust the relative angle between the blade and the stone (after changing stones) just by using the pivot angle setting.

I bought Kadet in October and after sharpening a few knives with it I have an issue when a clamp that hold the rotating holder self-releases after few seconds of being fully pressed. Here is the video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m6d5xdN_YrvPnMo.html OK TSPROF - what should I do about it? It seems like a manufacturing quality issue. This clamp should never self-release after being fully closed. I dropped a drop of oil on the spring according to manual. But lubricating the joint should not cause self-release.
