Finally I have found a TSProf how to video that’s not got some yank waffling on about nothing and imparting zero information - thank you sir, I am awaiting a Nero Kadet which I want to get the best use out of your video has been a great help
Upgraded from a WSPA and found your videos in a random search. By far the best resource I’ve seen, well done, Russel.
Pretty impressed with how big a knife it can sharpen.
Интересный способ заточки

Да, этот точильщик - фантастический кусок оборудования
Pretty versatile system!
nice to see a real knife sharpener that works on big knives, i m tired of my wicked edge, they dont help you when you have a problem, they dont answer there phones, over priced , just not happy with them any more, dont waste your on over priced sharpers people , REALLY SHOP AROUND!
The TSPROF user manual recommends a distance of 17mm from clamp edge to knife edge. I'm curious why you've set the distance using a straight line from heel to tip? Thanks!

Because that's also what the manual says - chapter 6.1; position the knife in the clamps so that the longest straight section of the knife is as parallel to the frame as possible. I agree that he could've clamped the knife "deeper" so that he would get closer to the 17mm recomendadion since there was at least 2 cm of additonal depth available in the clamps. But then again, I guess it doesn't matter that much, since he managed to get the knife pretty damn sharp anyway :)
Great! What about convex sharpening, did you try?
Супер друг!
