    if you could rotate the blade instead of taking it out of the clamp, I would consider this, add a pivot to the clamp and I'll buy it.

    Excellent design. I just wonder how it behaves with the knife curved tip.

    the curved tip will drop in angle. to reduce this effect : i suggest sharpen the curved tip first , put the clamp at the middle of the curve. match the angle with sharpie technique. Lastly sharpen the straight part , repositioning the clamp at the end of the staight part and match the angle with sharpie technique. Sharpening with this tool less tiring. Works easier with uniform level sharpening stones like Atoma diamond plate.

    Yes, If you clamp the blade correctly

    KME is like a lot easier and only cost 50 bucks more. It would be interesting for 50-100$

    KME is good but if you already have some bench stones, then this system works well with that.

    @@chrisbroadsbelly4734 I'm not going to post it here, but I found one made out of plastic and metal. and you can make one DIY with screws if you find the video on it.
